So I'm browsing around YouTube and I ran into the video. After watching it, I realized how much of a moron this person is. Maybe my views are differ from your's but in my opinion, I think he's an idiot for prancing around in a uniform crying like a little girl.

Brings disgrace to the Marines in my opinion, and I'm not a Marine
Fuck that. This guy went to fight in a war after being told that he was fighting for the freedom of the American people, only to come home and see the American people he swore an oath to protect being beaten for exercising their first amendment rights.
He not only honors himself, but he brings honor to the Marine Corps.
That guy is a fucking hero. Not only because he signed along the dotted line. Not only because he went to Iraq. But because he also had the courage to take a stand against the oppressors here at home as well.
He deserves a standing fucking ovation.

Either way you look at it, he should shave his face and wear his shit correctly or rock civilian clothes...I didn't watch it, the first frame was enough for this guy...if he has pride in his Corp, himself, and his service I wouldn't be discussing this....:kev::kev:

You should say that to his face! The dude is twice my size and if he were still in and I was giving him an inspection, he would pass. LOL
I do agree that its a sad state of affairs when police escalate to physical force so quickly these days. I'm not saying that none of it isn't warranted, but most of it isn't. Somewhere along the way, jobs that are known for integrity, morality, and excellence have somehow been infested with some bad apples, including our military.

I don't think he's really doing much for himself. Considering how well the supported the military typically is today whether it's your opinion or not it's the best it's been probably ever it impacts civilians and their standpoint. With the military aspect of things of course he's just going to piss us off because he's completely out of regs in every shape in form making up his own damn uniform but the message he is sending is a powerful one though. I don't blame the cops necessarily they typically just do what they are told just like all us people in the military. Being a cop is pretty damn dangerous too...

Apparently dude has a shaving profile......
Sorry Crusty, but I have to disagree with you completely. He's not taking a stand against oppressors. In this video, he is the aggressor. He's the one who's ranting at cops who are simply standing there.
I'm sorry, but the dude is a tool who is trying to get some fame, nothing else. He's an embarrassment, and an absolute disgrace.

Hve to say I agree with most of you, he should have been in civi's or worn the uniform proudly. We get paid to defend our country yes, but we also get trained to be the bigger man and show respect, even when things get out of control. He escalated the issue, unnecessary. I don't know the man or the whole situation on where he was at, but if I was there, even being just AF, I would have taken him away from the situation, period.

I think most former military would think he is a complete embarrassment, including me. Trying to show your ass in public and obstructing police business has "no honor in that." He is also blatantly disrespecting the Marine Corps uniform. If not going to be worn right it shouldnt be worn at all. He is an idiot that wanted camera time simple as that.
Forgive my brevity and spelling I am typing with my phone's Tapatalk app.

I agree with dbgusmg. I'm all about my military pride, but I don't go to protests in my old uniform to show that just cause I was in the military mean's I have better rights that you. Yea he may have went to Iraq, guess what....so did I. Yea he may have gotten shot at, guess what.....so did I. I'm not here to say he's a dick for what he did for his country but he's a complete moron for going around yelling that just cause he did this/that, he should be given extra sympathy. Dude, no one told him to sign the dotted line. He made the decision to join a brother hood and knew darn well that the likeliness of him deploying was very high. Like dbgusmg said, if you're going to wear the uniform, in or outside the corp, wear it correctly. You want to show your pride, show it with respect. He knew from the start he was going to make a scene. By wearing a ribbon rack on his uniform and not on his dress uniform, shows to me he was out to start shit from the jump and by using his ribbon rack and uniform, he was out to get sympathy from the public. All I see is that he is a coward, and if the police where to take him down in front of the public, they would see that the police show no sympathy for veterans. How gay can you get. The police of New York give mad respect to the Military and for him to prance around saying they don't. He can go fuck himself. Oh....camera's make people look big, I'd take that dude on anytime (no homo).

well in the 60's returning vets marched all the time in their uniforms, protesting the war. Now my thoughts are this guy is over the top a little but I think he put the stuff on to make a point and stop the violence which he did. To him I would say he just keeping his enlistment oath of protecting the constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic, in his mind. I would not condemn him when you have not seen what he has, if that what was going on in the protest.

The problem is that it pretty clearly wasn't what was going on. Watch the video, it's pretty clear that the cops aren't doing a damn thing, and he's just trying to get attention.
I'm curious though, what he's seen that those of us who have deployed haven't.

What I'm talking about is what he saw at the demonstration, if you run the video out, he is interviewed by some TV show and he says that he saw the Police being aggressive so that why he showed up later. I will say from the looks on the cops faces most looked down (a sign of being ashamed or tired)

I'd say they were tired. Do you really think they care if they were to take him out. Dude would be jacked up. I know I wouldn't want to be whacked across the head with a baton

When though? An hour or two prior? The day before? Week before? It sure as hell wasn't happening while he was complaining. Which makes his crying and bitching utterly irrelevant to what was going on. In his self-righteousness, did he ever consider that the cops were, just maybe, in the right? And that they were doing their job? Of course he doesn't. I mean, the civilians there don't have guns, so clearly anything they do is right and can't cause any problems whatsoever...........
Odd, you see shame....I see disgust with someone who's attempting to get his 5 minutes of fame at their expense.

Spyder - This video is old. This happened right in the middle of the OWS protests last year. And the cops were acting out of hand in numerous situations then.

Yes, I'm fully aware it's an old video. I'm also aware that there were SOME cops who were acting out of hand. There were also numerous situations where the cops were acting fully within their bounds, and it was the protesters who were out of control. Where there some bad cops throughout all these actions? Absolutely. But to even pretend that there weren't equally bad protesters is simply asinine. And that one news station's version of police brutality is another stations lawful actions. Or in this case, one man's opinion of an action, without full knowledge of what's going on. Which brings us back to the particular instance in which he feels the need to go self-righteous, and we get to watch this dumbass yelling at cops who are standing around doing their jobs. Then tack on the fact that he claims he hasn't seen a single person, nor a single video of people rioting in these Occupy sit-ins, which is either complete bullshit or willful ignorance.
Too many people forget that while you have rights, nothing within those rights allows you to trample over other people's rights, or violate laws.
