DO it .. LOL .. :p
yeah, you need a stick and also really helps to have an trackIR.
This game just about has every function a real A-10C has. Just about every button in the pit works. If you watch some of the other vids on you tube, this game can have a steep leaning curve in full sim mode. I have flown a lot of multi player... Can be a lot of fun..

Invest in a curved screen and your probably going to get as close as you can without flying the real thing.. :D

What does a screen like this run, pricewise?

I think something this big would prob run about 5 grand or more retail.
You can get smaller ones for as low 500 bucks. Some people just make their own.
Basicly its a fixed frame projector screen on a arc. You get projector screen material and make your own.
Throw in the projector and PC to drive resolution etc, it can get pricey..
I try to avoid looking at this stuff.. cause I want... :)
cool regardless.

Man, I had perfect vision until a couple of years ago. I did get some goggles, but I need to go back. In one year they are now no good.
In recent months even with a big screen with the console. I just can't friggen see... can't detect movement as well as I used to ... That is one reason for moving to PC .. I can sit closer to the screen... LOL.

That's awsome. I'd love to play something like that on the curved screen. May have to look it up. I've got the projector. I play on it now at about 108."

Skinning is usually done with photoshop. This was I test I did with gimp, make sure that with the tools for handling graphics was compatible. Trucker chick on the rudder. :p

Regarding the curved screen, does the game support Eyefinity? Isn't that the technology from ATI which allows you to put 3x 1920x1080 monitors side by side to accomplish a similar goal?
Seems like it would be badass for this game. I had thought of getting this DCS but I don't currently have a decent joystick and I absolutely suck at flight sims without one.

Yes, you can do an eyefinity setup.

I have a saitek x-cyborg. Not the best, but it serves. Really you can't play this game with out a stick. Also having a trackir also takes some of the load off (pilot overload). This game is badass. Really fun multi player but at the same time can be frustrating as your learning it - but it does have like an arcade mode vs full-sim.
