Improper Tallies

So I was wondering if anyone else noticed this - I was tallying my kills as I went through the clan op last night, and I tallied 290 kills, not 254. I wrote down my kills after every match and the total on the leaderboard was always off. It wasn't matches not being counted, because none of my matches totalled 36 kills, so I don't know why some of my kills were missing. Not a big deal, since it wouldn't have changed my positioning in the leaderboard and I wasn't in top 6 anyway, but if this happened for other people, that's bull...

I have read of such things happening... not sure what occurs in order for the missed kills to take place all I can think of is lag.

It's an ongoing problem that's been complained about for each op on the official forum. Not much we can do about it. :sly:

I was in a game when the op started, but I did not count that game in my tally. My first game that I counted started about 1803 CST. I was in a match when it ended, but I got 15 kills, not the 36 that it is off by. Here is the tally (I can't find any rhyme or reason as to which ones are missing):

Is anyone having trouble with their stats on Elite? My stats are wrong compared to what I got in the actual game. It's not just one or two matches either. It's quite a few actually.

Yeah, you aren't the first one and hopefully won't be the last. Elite has had its issues but it has given me a reason to keep playing MW3. Probably would have been over it if it wasn't for Clan Ops, so double edged sword in my opinion.

Good stuff man, the more the community grows the more interactive it gets. Obviously we have Twizt and Rob to post enough for ten people each, but the more opinions that come in here, the more ideas and stuff like that get thrown out for all to feed off of.

It happened when they got rid of full clan tracking on clan ops, and switched it over to where you can only see your clan. I'm pretty sure they did it so that they could sweep boosters under the rug and not deal with them anymore.....but that's just me.

I have pretty much concluded my kills and ranking is going to be whacked. I look at the leaderboard at the end and as long as we are gold I figure good enough. If I happen to actually show up in the top 10 or top 6 I figure it was my turn for Elite to treat nice. :hat:

i had that happen when i played with angels on one of the core tdms i played all three hours added up from recent matches and would have had well over 450 kills and got 0 i really hope they will fix these bugs

You're exactly right. That's why 1st place is just unrealistic for damn near all clans.

Yeah, we've been doing pretty good but 1st place is just out of reach. Shooting for top 50 or top 25 is within reach, though. Recently we've been hitting the top 0.1-0.3% range. Here is a list I compiled of all our clan ops:
