View Full Version : Wardec. Booty Hunters
As we learned this evening. We have a war on our hands. From a glance, this appears to be a small corp, with 2 active combat pilots. They have 67% k/d ratio. which means they are NOT hot shit. They advertise small gang warfare. Tacklers and ECM will be their primary weapons. Most of us aren't new to eve. But we have new players that don't have a lot of experience yet. Some Tips.
add the enemy pilots to your contacts. Its easy to track when they are online that way.
Keep local up. best way to tell if they are in system.
WATCH THE INTEL CHANNEL!
stay in groups. if your out mining, take some guys in pvp boats to provide over watch.
Stay in groups.
Stay in groups.
If they find you, RUN! get help then engage. your no good dead and a kill makes them look good.
if you don't think you can win, you probably wont.
Stay aligned to a station or gate
your not safe in a mission. they can scan you out.
Recommendations
If you form a PvP fleet. Be on TS3. its faster to hit one button, then type it out.
Appoint an Fleet commander.
Vets watch out for the new guys. If there is anything you want to add please feel free. Any questions of me feel free to ask.

I completely agree with this. The only thing I would add is if ur looking for fits go to battle clinic and look up the desired fit or ask one of the veteran players. Be safe out there everyone.

Battleclinic is good. but a lot of crap is posted there too. I would double check with a veteran before fitting, plus I HIGHLY recommend downloading EVE Fitting Tool. Its very useful and I use to make and double check builds. You can add in your character info to automatically update so you can see how your ship works with your skills.

Battleclinic is a great tool. But alot of crap is posted there as well. Double check with a veteran before spending money on a build. Also I Highly recommend downloading EVE Fitting Tool. Its very useful and invaluable for making ship builds.

I was flipping through Battleclinic the other day, and couldn't find a way to link member names to the actual corp. Is that something we can post up in our Corp's bulletins, so everyone knows who they're supposed to be following?

We all know about Patriots and their Wardec, however Waste Management has decided that having a wardec against FD isn't enough, and have targeted us as well. So at the moment we're sitting on a 3 front war.

I suggest staying close to a station or stay in .9 sec or higher and don't risk any expensive ships unless in a PvP fleet for mining and such or stay docked

.9 sec isn't any safer than .5 for the war. The best way to get away from the wartargets would be to move to w-space or nullsec, but then again, the people who live there wouldn't be happy about having us around.

Would have been a 4 front war but unfortunately for "Mentally Assured Destruction" they won't have the opportunity this week with the 3 war limit. War dec was received today from them.
I logged on last night to see the patriots have given up the fight. From what ive seen they were the most organized. I don't know about the other corps but this war just might have become a whole lot easier.
If my training Quos would go faster i could help out haha fitting everything in the blackbird and having the capacitor say "stable" instead of "depleted" are two different things haha ima workin on it lol

So I have been assessing the threat level of each organization.
Booty hunter's: These guys are not organized in any sense, they stick to individual fights where the win is in their favor, and they love guerrilla tactics. The biggest threat is their ships, they have expensive ships, and they are all fit fairly well. I am quite confident that they would not be able to handle a 5+ pilot fleet of us going after one of them.
Human Waste Management: They are not really that threatening, they can put up a fight but as we all have seen F--D whipped them pretty good on almost all fronts.
Whoever the hell the other guys are: I have not seen any of them yet, but they are definitely not attacking as far as I can tell.
Everyone pay attention in the game to the Bulletins, I am developing a plan, and I want it to stay on the in-game channels.
