1. You asked and wanted to be here. Wear the clan tag in game! The title is optional. Both are optional during a clan operation because it may scare the lobby into backing out. There's really no reason to not to during normal gaming. You're a member of the best military clan and one of the top clans around. Be proud of what we've accomplished.

2. Once again we're nearing an Elite clan milestone and I'd like all those currently on the roster to get there with us. Everyone in the Elite clan was briefed about participating ingame, clan ops and in the forums. Unfortunately, some have done neither and will wake up one day to find their title/tag gone. The forums are always open and there are 10 ops, as of today, between us and level 40. If you're new, brush up on the 2nd round of cuts that occured near level 30:

We need solid members who want to be around for a host of other games we'll have a presence in. We don't want guys mooching for a simple tag and title. I'll be reviewing activity soon. Re-invites won't be doled out that easily again.

-If you'd rather play a different game mode for 3 hours during a clan op, be prepared to lose your Elite spot.

This is a critical time for the Elite clan guys. Clan Op participation will be reviewed. DO NOT expect to reap the benefits of the hard labor of others! You've been warned from your initial brief when joining and you've been warned all throughout these threads.

P.S. Oh yeah, don't just get a kill or get a few caps during an op to placate the staff. We see right through it.

^^^Didn't feel like typing that again. If you're observed to consistently roam without your clan tag, you'll be kicked and then we can discuss it like children when you come here raging.

Play the clan op gametype during the clan op period. It's downright disrespectful to teammates if you're not helping and will result in a kick.

Cuts are imminent. While you are apart of this community, the requirements to maintain a roster spot for the Elite side are more stringent. You were briefed on this if it was a primary reason for you joining us. Post history, last login, clan op participation etc are all factors that are considered. As always some of you will rage, some will be contrite and some will ask to be readmitted in order to be cut at a later date. Some will be spared but are on the bubble. Stay tuned.

We currently sit at 58,500 and need 40,713 to reach our goal of 99,213. It's a long road, but attainable. Think of it as 41 clan op golds. Hopefully clan challenges kick in soon and we'll be able to get there easier.

-New members who have yet to participate in ops, this is the time to earn your stripes

-There have been multiple complaints of members playing other game types during clan ops. Those not participating will log on one day to find they are no longer in the Elite squad.

-The roster will be solidified at level 50. Changes will be made if BO2 requires a new level of commitment and a member is incapable of participating.

-It now takes 3-4 ops per level since we passed 40. Once a new level is attained, clan op participation(not performance) of the last level will be scrutinized and cuts will be made. We hate moochers.

-Respect the clan by wearing the tag and respect your teammates at all times.

-Don't forsake the site due to your in game participation. You can still get cut for neglecting the forum and being completely oblivious to how we are planning for ops.

-Anyone can get cut. It doesn't matter who you are!

Let me dispel any worries about being cut. If you participate on the site and during ops, you have nothing to worry about. We aren't looking for forum warriors or for you to play in EVERY op. We can see clearly who contributes and a teensy bit of common sense is employed when cutting folks. We've also been VERY liberal with readmitting those who have failed us provided they can recommit. Have a little faith guys and keep up the outstanding work.

-KC ops are the only ones that require planning. Spread the word to clanmates to signup!

-Provided Beach Head keeps releasing 3 ops a week and we keep attaining gold, we'll need 30 ops after 6/23. This puts our ETA for 50 at 9/3. This is barring the release of clan challenges, champ/bronze/silver badges. ;)

There have been a few people waxing poetic with co-signers about the state of our Elite clan. I'll address a few issues here:

Participation: No one has ever asked anyone here to make MW3 a second occupation, forsake their family, forsake feeding birds in the park or Sunday school. I'm not gonna rehash our minimum requirements since its basically retelling The Little Red Hen story over and over again. It's really that simple.

Betterment of the clan: We've gone from top 1000 to top 100 to being in the mix for champ or top10. There's nothing wrong with discussing strategies to turn the corner as they say. Working together and engaging in these types of discussions is one of the benefits of a clan. Being content or complacent isn't what we're about.

Fun: You're playing the most competetive clan oriented shooter on consoles. This isn't Pikmin. The claim that the clan is now too serious or devoid of fun is being overstated. I can't dictate what fun is, but if you're basing your negative views on 9 hours of repetitive stagnant ops available each week then you're just flat out wrong.

Let's stay on topic and on the mission which is level 50. With only 35K left, its time to sac up. The objective of the Elite clan is to rank up and get to 50. That's it. If you think it's for another more noble reason, you're wrong. We're not a clan that arose from Elite like others and the Elite group doesn't validate our community.

Cuts were a long time coming and yes they were made this morning. If you felt you were cut in error or that your clan op/forum participation backs up your claim, by all means hit the apply tab on Elite since I do make mistakes(<---That only serves to allow you to save face)
