Ok was it just me or did it seem like the 2x XP weekend bring back a whole horde of spawn camping, noob tube'n, frag round use'n D-Bags?

Haven't had games like those in quite a while ... never missed them either.

Seemed to be only slightly worse - my K/D and W/L for the weekend were only a little down, so I was ok with it considering I got a whole nother service star on my rank and a crapton of other stuff.

Lets be honest. When do all the players who are actually good, and yes I hate to say it, come out and play the game. Only on clan ops and special days where the reward is worth playing. It just shows how COD is starting to fade out of peoples minds. Hence the new download content that drops the same day as ghost recon. I'm still going to buy ghost recon because that shit looks crazy

I don't think they are better gamers at all ... I've been playing BF3 since midnight 30 on launch day and in the beta ... I have seen the exploiters, the HALO jumpers and frag round users and the spawn campers come and for the most part go from the PSN BF3 community.

I consider myself to be a decent player and those guys are not exactly playing the game as much as working around the game ... it was jarring to see a return to that kind of play just because of Double XP.

I'm not calling them cheaters or anything because I don't think they were .... it's just a general lack of sportsmanship the tends to make the game less fun for everyone.

There is a line between what you can and what you should do.

Can you mash your jump button so many times that your avatar looks like a grasshopper on Meth? Does that make it harder to hit you, yes to both. Should you, IMHO no ... it makes you a D-Bag.

To drag my little soap box out just a little farther, if you ask me players should play the game in the spirit in which it was meant to be played and quit looking so hard for way to "work" the system.

Hahahaha! I do agree with you on the halo jumpers, but what gets me the most are the dolphin divers. Those a holes get me all the time.
