i personally like the concept of The Secret World, but been burned by too many MMOs in recent years to jump on one right out of the gate, but for the World of Darkness, come on! Its Vampires! Go Tremere!:cheer2:

Ive had my eye on TSW for sometime. Cant say Im jumping right in either. I got burned on AoC at launch and cant trust Funcom.

granted, it just being Funcom is a reason to be cautious in itself lol but these new MMO's in general. I mean, how many CE Pre Order boxes do i have to set up on the shelf to collect dust before these companies start getting there act together? I wanta like so many MMOs, but I've been there done that, Hell STO, i had a max lvl toon with the best gear and absolutely nothing to do before my 30 day trial was over haha. But WoD, i have hopes in, and only because its CCP and they are taking their time on it lol

I'm waiting on Secret World and will more than likely play it when it launches. I was not a fan of AoC but I was a fan of Anarchy Online when it launched (minus the laggy launch). We'll see how well Secret World holds up.

I also played AO for a while, Omni of course haha but ya I've been follow TSW for a while also but I'm just a little skittish on the use of instances. I played AoC for a bit too and those instances quickly lost interest in them at the higher lvls. The end game raids, while fun at first, quickly became borring once u understood the mobs lol I hope TSW is different, but I love the Lovecraftian theme and the modern setting hehe

Ok, so now that TSW is live, is anyone playing it? My current Laptop doesn't have the specs to fun it or i would be haha Was wondering what ya thought of it.

I still play AoC, but only to update AA timers and sometimes just lowbie open world PvP. What Funcom did to that game is inexcusable. I'd imagine they'll do the same with TSW. They're already planning on another MMO beyond that, meaning before too long, the good devs will desert TSW and it will be left to rot like what they did with AoC.

Agreed, I played AoC for a while, till I maxed out my toon and realized all there was to do was raid the same bosses because the loot + random dice rolls sucked agianst 20+ other players lol then I unsubed lol I was hoping TSW would be different, I guess time will tell lol
