Ok, so as most of you know, I tether my internet at home lol. I'm still trying to patch the game with the last update so i thought i would set up an API Key and find an app to make sure my Training is always on something. Found an App called "Aura" on the android market (google play), set up the API and installed it no problem. Even figure out how to set up my Skill Planner, very handy app.

But my training quo was empty and even though i got one in the planner, I cant figure out how to add it to my current quo. Anyone familiar with this that can steer me in the right direction?

Aura will not control or change skills you have to actually log into the game for that.

that does suck :( i played Fallen Earth for a while when it first came out, they came up with an app that let you craft, which take hours just like Eve's training times haha, and set up market transactions all through the app. With as popular as Eve is i would of thought for sure they'd have something similar...

I use an app called Evanova, it won't let you control anything but you can read e-mail and check your que etc.

I've used both Aura and Evanova. Aura is just better, so Evanova has been uninstalled.

If I could figure out how to tether this android it has unlimited data!

The new patch is like under 2gigs I think. But I couldn't tell ya how much data just running Eve is a month, I got alltel which is unlimited and it doesn't even tell me my data usage lol

But for tethering my android, I use pdanet, free app, no root, but no https unless ya pay $15 (one time charge). It can be a little clunky as far as figuring out how to set everything up but once its set up, its a great app for tethering

It's set up that way so paranoid people (like me) will be comfortable giving API Keys to 3rd parties. 3rd parties can use the API key to get certain information about your character(s), but there's no risk of them being able to somehow hose your account. Especially important since ISK have a certain real-world value thanks to PLEX.

Makes sense and wouldn't frustrate me nearly as much if I wasn't tethering my net haha patches suck haha
