EA still hasn't yet officially confirmed the existence of Dead Space 3, but we can all now be pretty sure it's a Thing, and one that includes some sort of co-op component, thanks to a batch of leaked screens posted by All Games Beta. Several of the screens show someone in Isaac Clarke's blue-lit armor fighting alongside someone in a similar get-up, with glowing red lights. I suppose this could just be an NPC ally... but yeah, probably not.
One of the images also seems to reveal another new element that's been added to the game, in the form of a gun-toting Necromorph. Projectile-spewing Necromorphs are nothing new for the series, but they all fall more into the realm of "slavering beastie." The above enemy looks almost human, and it definitely appears to be wielding some sort of two-handed firearm. What could this mean?
The zombie-like humanoid in the above image is also decked out in what appears to be snow gear, further supporting rumors of an ice planet setting for the next game. These screens appear following EA's release of a Dead Space graphic novel trailer which offers one soldier's perspective -- your co-op ally, perhaps? -- on a Necromorph infestation, on the ice planet of Uxor.
The existence of Dead Space 3 is no longer a question after this week, thanks to these new screen. We'll presumably know more by the end of next week, when E3 2012 comes to a close.

Okay. In DS3 they have a new and improved weapon customization option, in which you combine different attachments to create different weapon types (like a lightning shotgun for instance), when you create these weapons they get saved as weapon schematics that you can then trade with other players. Now, the demo is out now and the schems you create there will transfer over to your new game when it comes out. Savvy?

A lot of games don't even have them or are very limited. I tried BF3's and that was pretty good.

Well you should run this one, if for no other reason than to play around with the schems that will transfer over to your game when you buy it...

I still have the original Dead Space, never played DS2.

Ok well I'll try and finish up DS1 soon. Probably won't play DS2, but depending on how I like it, may or mat not pick up the game after it's been out for a little while.

I played DS2 first and then DS1. Loved these games. Creepy as shit. Scared me more than once. :) I've preorder 3.
Created some pretty badass schematics earlier tonight. Can someone say heavy assault rifle w/ flame thrower attachment and an ammo magnet?

Lol yea! It's attachment slot 2. You automatically pick up ammo on the ground...so useful.

I picked up my pre-order today. If anyone sees me on, hit me up for some coop play. Sounds interesting and from what I saw in the demo, there are definately places where it would be helpful to have more than one person.

No everyone has access to the homepafe however Doc should since he is a staff member. My permissions got messed up when i changed emails on the site so META wasn't allowing me to login. Smoke fixed it and it was good to go.
If you are logged in at the top there should be a '+' button under there should be the option to do a new review.
