Red Clan title rumor

I heard someowhere from someone (specific right?), that when we get to Clan level 50 our in game Clan Tag changes from yellow to red. Anyone know if there is any truth to this? I have never seen it, but I also have never seen a level 50 clan.

There have been rumors about clan tag changes since we were level 20 lol... I honestly haven't heard anything concrete from anyone on the developer side of things. Considering that did the switcheroo on the level 40 & 50 clan titles already who knows what happens at 50. The highest clan I've seen thus far was a 45. We are getting there. Few more ops and we'll be smashing all others!

It was Smokin Aces. One of the most unlegit clans around. They built themselves up off of dumbass founders who wanted to join based on clan level only to get booted. 32 badges with a silver and bronze in there. Even if you spot them 32K, thats still 67K attributed to founder XP. 83 members? They were accepting them and kicking them. Not sure why they're still doing ops even though they maxed out.

So eventually they're going to raise the clan limits right (i.e. go higher than 50 levels)? So I'd assume that you want to keep earning xp as it will eventually help you get a higher rank. It would be complete and utter bullshit if the xp earned as a level 50 clan went to waste because there wasn't anything higher at the time (like how it is on normal multiplayer leveling where what you earn after hitting 80 doesn't count towards your next level until you prestige). It would be epically lame if they don't increase the levels because eventually tons of clans will get there, theta already an ass load of clans with the level 30 title.

Yeah we are all hitting a wall. Its not a sprint it's a marathon so we can just keep pushing through it. I don't see many clans hitting 50 unless they employ clan challenges sometime soon

Since best odds are that Clans will continue in to Black Ops 2, and will have added levels.....kinda like the prestige thing in mw3, it makes sense as it is.

I rotate 3-4 shooters a week so I dont get bored with one. I tell those guys I am just a grunt in my Clan and then surprise them with the first 5-6 kills. usually I end up with a different lobby by the end of the match.

Yeah, I think I need to wait until more information comes out about how they'll look in the future to form a reasonable opinion about it (Just when you think they're going to do something right you get button hooked and they find a way of screwing it up). I'm on board with the thought that there probably won't be many clans that are level 50 prior to BO2 coming out so I'm not really concerned regarding what happens in MW3, but if it's just going to be like starting over with each game then that would be super lame. There should be something in it for the clans who were maxed out in the previous title otherwise whats the point?

A lot of clans will taper off as these tired challenges go on and new games are released. You have to look at what it takes to get to each milestone. 32K to 30 was pretty easy looking back. Lack of clan ops held clans back. The delta between that and 40 is 26 ops with gold. From 40 to 50 is a whopping 42K or 42 golds. It's discouraging doing 3-4 ops just to go up 1 level. Not many are down for that journey. A lot of clans don't have the infrastructure or wherewithal. I've stated in our feed we may not be the best COD clan, but we are hands down the best military clan. You can take that to the bank. We have double the xp of our nearest competitor.

We may want to think about organizing three 25 man teams, and each team taking one OP a weekend. There will be a slower burnout rate that way, and if we break up the skilled guys, I would not be surprised at all if we could still take gold on all of them. Just a thought anyway.

I am positive everyone on this site has experienced 3 hours of something NOT fun. I figure as long as I am close to the xbox, I can do an op for 3 hours even if it is a type I hate. Running with good guys (and gals) makes it more bearable.

I do hope we get something for level 50, and I hope like crazy it gives us something in BO2.

I know what you are trying to employ and in all honesty if we had 75 committed people it would be perfect but often times it is the same 25-40 cats running ops. Gotta take into account leaves, deployments, emergencies, school, and the people who don't do squat for the clan.

Then she hides the kids away most of the time and I usually am on an hour before and then after unless there is anything to do I stay on and she says ok. I game often she only complains if it gets late and she worries I am going to be tired for work. So on those occasions I just take the next day off, my boss thinks I am a hard worker and deserve a day here and there. I have 2 months of saved up vacation I can never use up.
