This actually has me pumped to get back into Halo. This new engine looks better than Bungie's.

The weapons look sick. I also like the assassination portion too. How it goes from being in first person to third person to show how you kill the other player. Also, who doesn't enjoy tackling another player...lol

Was never good at halo it made me mad, but the weekly ops that continue the story sound awesome

While you can't truly be sure until you actually get some hands-on time, I really do believe thus far that 343 has done an amazing job of continuing the Halo franchise after Bungie. So far, this is looking awesome.

I'm especially loving the multiplayer innovations we're seeing. I am curious, however, to see if the horde mode version made it in to Warzone, or if it got dropped for the episodic story content.

I completely agree with you. Not only does the game play look awesome but the graphics look 10 times better than the first 3. Minus Reach, but all in all this game looks like another that will impress all who are Halo fans

True. I don't ever remember being able to do any type of damage when carrying the flag. I do remember being able to shoot but not but stroke the crap out of someone lol

IIRC you could always melee with the flag (and skull in other modes), but depending on the settings it may or may not be a one-hit kill. I don't remember ever being able to shoot while carrying the flag, but I could be wrong.

Nope, no shooting while flag/skull/oddball carrier. Melee only. It would auto-holster your gun. No driving either.

Yeah that's what I thought. Didn't one of the games let you drive with it (or ride with it)? That always annoyed me because I always forgot, jumped in a vehicle to book it back, and dropped the flag. Sometimes I was a good ways away before I realized it too.
