For all the 1st person shooter guys,
I did a search and saw that no one did a thread on Scuf controllers. So I thought I'd start one. For those of you looking for something that will help you become a better COD player, then you have to get one of these controllers. I have been using one since the beginning of May, and my K/D is climbing. I will put up a link to there website in case your interested.
The controller will be made anyway you want it. You choose a color, analog stick type (xbox, or PS3 styles). It has paddles on the back which you decide what buttons you want it mapped to. There is also trigger stops, which are adjusted by you, which takes out the slack in the trigger, and aim buttons. You can order the controller either wired, or wireless, or you can send them one of you own controllers, and they will "Scuf it up", so they call it.
Using this controller is not cheating, some say it is, but the wired version is MLG approved. So you can use a Scuf controller in tournaments if you compete. If you have question feel free to ask in the forum, or PM me.

Cool. I need a new controller anyways, I have a short in my wired one from my ex's dog. sometimes I cant move mid game so I look like camping lately haha. The reaper thats red is cool.

All you have to do is play HC KC and not collect tags. Just go around and kill a bunch of people. Run UAV's and Vest's and you'll be set. I increased my from at steady 1.31 to a 1.34 in 3 weeks. I don't play as much as I want to but my plan is to be at a 1.35 by weeks end

Your right Rob, in HC K/C this controller will be less affective ie, drop shots. But the hair triggers do help in any game mode. I barely touch my trigger button and it shoots, most of the time its firing as I'm bringing it up. Besides K/D, its fun listening to people bitch when you drop shot them in core.

That looks like a learning curve, is it hard to get used to. I have never bought anything but the original stuff for any gaming system or pc:madgrin:

Not really a learning curve...only took me a day or two to just get use to the way its set-up...if your used to playing Battlefield or any FPS on the PC, it's pretty simple to use the mouse...the Frag Chuck is just like using the 360 controller except its just half of it or its like playing with the Wii controller...I'll never play FPS games with the regular 360 ever again...works great with GRFS, GoW series, and any COD game...

For $35 you can send Scuf Gaming a factory Xbox 360 controller and they will add the paddles, and whatever you want. That's far less than buying a new one!

Hahaha! Same here. I still have my controllers from when I first got my xbox. Kan must rage a lot to go through so many. Either that or mushes the shit out of them lol

Yeah I still have the original wired and one wireless controller. I don't rage the controller. I have once on ps3 and my 4 yr old fixed that one. I don't need a controller so much. I am shopping for a new console. I want to wait to see what's new but there didn't seem to be a new console for Xbox soon so I think if I can get the star wars edition soon I should be good. I want to try the ones Guillermo mentioned.

No, you don't need to be at a table to use it. What I did was that I took one of the shelves from my book case, which is about a 15x18 inch wood board, and I keep it on my lap, and I bought one of those big ass gaming mouse pads from Razer, the size of it is about 14"x17" pad.

so the shelf with the mousepad on top of it? I think I can figure out a way to take some mouse friendly material and fastening it to a platform with a padding like my mouse wrist support. time to hit the workshop and make something tonight haha

I don't rage at all lol i just run tactical on all my sticks so anytime their start turning slower or get worn buttons and shit its time to move on lol... been thinking about picking up a SCUF though. Just gotta decide when lol

Yes, I love my scuf. But it pretty much is a cod controller only, unless you take the trigger stops out could you use it for other games. I bought the red skull one and is hand painted so no two are alike. I should have had my bumpers set to b and a so I could drop shot with the bumper and still be able to knife with the right stick. I forget to knife all the damn time and find myself crouching instead. Still getting used to b being melee.

Yes, a completely new xbox. I don't know what they will call it, people online are calling it xbox 720. Microsoft is keeping it quiet but I know a new console is in the works because they gave the processor information to some game manufacturers such as Treyarch, EA, Activision, etc.. I found this video that came out today from E3, and they are saying both Sony, and Microsoft will release new consoles by the end of 2013. Here is the link:

But they are just speculating like everyone else. They even joke how it's easy to predict there will be something new in 2013 not this year. I think I will buy a new one now and whatever comes out when it's been out a few months.

Thats cool, I just didn't want you to spend $200-$300 on a console, then a new one gets released. I actually thought it would be out sooner than that. I've read the new console will have a heavy emphasis on kinect. Check with jxspyder, I think he was at E3. He may have better information.

It's code-named Durango, and will most likely be announced at E3 next year, probably for an early 2014 release.

I know we have a thread in the past that we talked about but I didn't realize it would be coming out so soon. I wonder if you can play in the old games on the new console.

That I don't know. But There have been talks of downloading games instead of buying a disc. Kind of like using icloud technology which is already available on xbox now. If they do go that route, say goodby to stores like Gamestop. Plus the games you currently own would become worthless.

Yeah, if you play COD a lot its definitely worth looking into. I love my Scuf controller, and it without a doubt helps me play better!

I was in the market for a new controller and did a little reading on these SCUF controllers. I opted for the blacked out wired version, and I love it. The back paddels give you a great deal of flexability of your layout. And nothing beats doing a flying, prone, knife kill.

Oh good, hopefully this thread helped you in making that decision. I have to call Scuf because I am getting a delay when I pull the right trigger, which is not supposed to happen. Its getting me killed often, but there customer service is awesome so it shouldn't be a problem if there is something wrong with my controller. Anyway, I agree with you the Scuf is an awesome controller!!!

I just signed and gave a property management 3500 bucks today, but once I am solid again in August I will be getting one.

I like my support role. I love making guys mad killing their UAV's in hard core and choppers. especially the Reapers and AC130's. you hear hell yeah then boom sadness. I also still do a lot of flanking moves to break stalemates.

The shipping is kinda slow because they make each one to order. There are so many variation you can choose. I think they shipped mine like 7 days after I ordered it. Good thing for you is it's coming from the west coast.
