View Full Version : Timothy Michael Poe on America's got talent
Do not know if any of y'all watch America's Got Talent, but I was watching it and this guy comes on and states that he spent 14 years in the military and had to get out due to medical injuries while deployed to Afghan and got hit by a rocket propelled grenade, and earned a purple heart through the entire thing. From the accident he got brain injuries where he developed a stutter and learned how to sing when his speech therapist recommended that he try. Well from reading about his story, there is a bunch of propaganda out there that he is lying about the entire story. Just wondering everyone's opinion on the subject.

Lying about serving is pathetic, lying about being a war hero is shameful and he should have his nuts removed and sewed across his mouth to prevent his "studder"... he's a coward.
I mean honestly I will never claim to have seen CQC or being outside the wire (unless trying to pick up chicks) the audacity to claim you have saved people's lives blah blah and in all reality you never even made it there? Garbage...

The fact that he pulled this stunt on national TV was just plain retarded. His OIC dimed him out, pretty much calling him stupid in the process. Ex said his "stutter" (how did you both misspell that? :confused:) was to get attention. This guys got problems.
Yes from what I have read so far it seems like he is dumb as rocks and is a compulsive liar. Basically pathetic if you ask me.
Here's a guy who whips out a picture of "himself" in Afghanistan, shows it on NATIONAL TELEVISION, and gets busted when the actual soldier in the picture goes APESHIT and notifies his COC. Stupid doesn't even scratch the surface.....

I was thinking the same thing but I think you have to actually wear the metal to be charged with impersonation
I don't know but he used it at personal gain and think that is a rule too. I volunteer to meet the guy and discuss military records. I can fix that stutter few good.

I know what you mean, I found a guy selling a hogs tooth on eBay, then noticed he's sold hundred of them. FYI a hogs tooth is given to you when you graduate from scout sniper school. Anyway, I worked my ass off to earn that and this asshole was making and selling them to posers. It really pissed me off and I wish I could let that guy know what I think of him!!

From my understanding it is illegal to just say you are a vet and not be. I think he needs to be arrested and made a prime example of. There are thousands of people who claim to be and are not. These people need to be taken behind the wire and dropped off. Let them see what its really like.Even as a Civi this shit pisses me off so bad. What a fucking disgrace...this piece of shit is such a waste of space and air. Wow, I just watched this episode off my DVR. This guy actually said he tried to jump on the soldiers near him when a RPG was coming at them. Is it confirmed that he was never in the military? If so he is the biggest scumbag I've ever seen!!
