Just an idle bitch whine and gripe about assignments.

So of course we all excel at one aspect of the game over others ... I just wanted to commiserate over how much of a pain in the ass it is to complete the assignments that run directly against your play style.

I got the 320, Rocket, and Sniper assignment kills completed this weekend for and I have to say that was the longest XP grind I have done since Everquest.

Not to mention in my pea brain you use anti tank weps for ... shit I dunno TANKS! *LOL*

Thankfully I'm in the home stretch now only 3 left.

How is everyone else doing? Running into any real sticking points?

Oh man. I don't even bother with most assignments. I've completed a couple by complete accident. I used to run engineer all the time. That being said, now that I've started to play more Close Quarters TDM, I'm making headway on assignments again. I find that if I stress too much over the assignments the game becomes too much of a chore. Good luck!

The Btk assignments didn't really give me trouble except for the one where I had to destroy a vehicle with a repair torch. That took me forever! Always kept dying right before I could get there or they would jump out before I destroyed it. Then I destoyed one finally, and within two weeks had gotten 3 more. That ticked me off. The one where I had to get kills with the DPV and BTR-90 took awhile, just because I didn't play the Btk maps all that much but I eventually just did them. The stupidest one was the one where I had to win 5 games of SQDM. That mode sucks! I think I lost 11 times before I got my 5th win.
That being said, I don't see most of the CQ assignments giving me trouble. I play consistently with each class, and I use PDWs and Shotguns in close quarters combat a lot, so the only one I see giving me trouble is "My Own Terminator" - I've never used an EoD bot, and I suspect it will take me awhile to get a kill with one.

My EOD bot kill came by accident. I was torching an idle Tank and when the driver jumped out to repair, he appeared right in my bots path so he got torched to death lol

The EOD bot is one of my last 3 that I need to unlock them all.

I'm prob going to tackle that one tonight ... hope'n for some luck to get that one out of the way quickly.

I have no idea why I feel I need to unlock all of the assignments ... but I do feel compelled *LOL*

I don't know why either but I feel compelled to complete all attachments for all guns...was going to try for all dogtags too but there's some I'll never get (like service star 100 co-op, and a few others like that). So I'll settle for getting and unlocking all weapons/attachments. Hitting service star 1 in jets would be nice too...if I ever get a kill

Did all of the kark, the only one outta there that was a pain was for the cqz or cqb submachine gun. Then once you get it, you find that the damn thing sucked so bad that it wasn't worth it in the first place lol.

The QBZ95? Haven't used it yet (got 2 more carbines to unlock attachments first before I get to it), but it was a pain to unlock.

I usually don't worry about them and just get them by luck after playing for hours.

The QBZ95? Haven't used it yet (got 2 more carbines to unlock attachments first before I get to it), but it was a pain to unlock. YEP AND IT BLOWS LOL!!!

Lol. I see a decent amount of people using it though.


Sniper kills will be the hardest for me since I don't ever snipe. I'm still having problems with getting the new dogtags since it's still not recording my squad revives or shotgun kills!

I don't see one that needs squad revives..."Life Saver" needs squad heals, but those have been tracked. Shotgun kills aren't getting tracked for me either.

Lol. I see a decent amount of people using it though. Run with the AK-74u, it is sooo much better than that garbage.

I didn't like the AK74u. The SCAR-H wasn't bad, and the SG553 is pretty good. I liked the G36C and M4 the best. The G53 is garbage

Guess that will teach "that guy" to never stop to stand behind a tree too long *LOL*

Just one more assignment to go and then it's back to normal play.

Well I got an awesome repair tool kill last night. Went to de-repair an AMTRAC and started derepairing when I noticed an enemy engineer repairing next to me. So I derepaired him! It was awesome. On another note, did you guys know you can get kills with Defibs now? Got defibbed last night and I was confused, because I thought you couldn't do that anymore but apparently it was changed in one of the patches.

Haha you got defibbed! I tried killing people with it before and it never works so I switch to my rubber knife attack.
