It would seem that many of us have many different opinions about the direction of the clan and where we want to be eventually. (Imagine that...) We as a whole are the strongest community out there when it comes to gaming for multiple reasons. We find ourselves indifferent to what we want to accomplish. Lets just remember who we are. We have pushed through a ton of painful clan OPS and some that were actually enjoyable, regardless we pushed through them together. Many of us have hit a wall. Similar to running a marathon when you hit that 25th mile and we can definitely overcome it! We have to see the big picture its not about being competitive or noncompetitive its about finishing the goal we set out to finish. We are more than half way there towards our finished goal of level 50. We understand about people who have genuine things going on. I myself can usually only make 2/3 ops on the weekends. We just need to come back together as a community and remove any negative thoughts about our progress as whole. We are not only a clan we are a family... there isn't a group of people out there more established, effective and legitimate than we are. So let's press...

I'm just trying to have a good time. I think the site is perfect the way it is. Everyone should know what to do, cause its all over site and has been states by our Founders from time to time. If they have a gripe or they feel something could be improved, let them notify a founder. We do have certain threads to go on to make these comments or you can pm a founder. No need to start thread after thread about a problem. Maybe we should have a folder with a complain form. Fill it out and hope that it gets answered lol

Fair enough. That is true... so if anyone does have issues they can post them here but this is by no means an open invitation for outside arguments. If you have an issue post it and it will get addressed.

I am happy, not sure why others are unhappy, do an op dont do an op, just participate once in awhile with your USMG family. I miss most saturdays due to football, no one gets upset. I like my video games and all the stuff we do just gives us goals, its not like we are making cash from it. ok I used to 10 yrs ago, but not much. I know there are different types in any community, you guys were crazy to let me in the door so lets just have some fun.

Well said Teddi, this is more or less what we are looking for. Someone who participates when they can and if they don't its not the end of the world. But also someone who loves gaming it up!

It should be also be answered by a founder or someone who has been in some type of leadership status on the site. I hate having a ton of people who are new (and i'm not offending anyone) giving the person answers. Main reason is that the new person has no power to fix the problem.

I hope that this thread and the posts from Pak aren't a result of my "throw up" in the tactics thread. I don't want it to be misconstrued that I am unhappy with the state of the clan or anything like that, more-so it was to relay my frustration with all the talk of participation amongst clan members. Pak talks regularly about people mooching, not participating, cuts coming soon, ect... (and he rightly should be because it is always the same people playing in the ops) but with it having to be brought up so regularly it makes me wonder if the amount of free time that I can contribute to the ops is "good enough"? There are weeks where I can't play in any ops and all and then there are times where I can do a little bit of all of them but not all three hours. Is that good enough to not get cut for being a chump? With how much participation is talked about "I" feel like if there is a period that I can't contribute I'll be looked down on as not pulling my weight. Don't get it twizted (see what I did there Brian, LOL) if it were up to me I'd be rocking it in all three hours of every op, it isn't a question of desire or want to play, its a realization that life often gets in the way and I feel like there is pressure to participate in ops regularly or be cut.

So I don't even know if the question needs to be asked or not but if I did have a question it would be what is the expectation of participation in ops? Personally I've been around long enough that I understand that if I can contribute I will, so is the pressure I perceive self induced and I'm making a big deal about nothing or is there an expectation of how often everyone should be participating?

Again I love it here and don't want to seem like a malcontent, but I want to know whether I should be worrying about a spot on the elite roster if life gets in the way or if we should voluntarily step down if we know we aren't going to be able to participate regularly?

I dont understand the problem people have either because I always see people on and not playing the op. I think that what your both are saying is true but to you whom said tht staff shoulkd make the answers to thjose whom ask and not newbies no doubt on that ecspeciallky if it someomne who just joined and is probationary member. but to us who do actuallyn compete and get on fgor the fun of it then lets keep doing it . greed though somepeople do take this really serious even tho it is a game. to my brothers and sisters of the usmg lets just play forthe love of the game andcontinue to run sumpreme through clan ops. doing it. were not struggaling bad at all as a clan and most of us play welltogether with each other. oohrah

See its not about you, you participate when you can. Others never do or play other game types during an op and never do ops, that's 2 slaps in the face at the same time. Your like me, life gets in the way sometimes, pak understands that and from the start of elite always said as long as you try to do help when you can it's cool. I know some folks think elite is becoming too serious, but I don't see it as that serious I have fun and die like way too many times, sometimes goof off as long as the op goal is being met. Like launchers or using a lmg when I shouldn't or semtexing myself and running into dome haha. I'm an intense guy but not really in ops it is funny and I'm shooting it up with my brothers. (and sisters sometimes)

See thats what kills me man. I hate getting online...and our team being short a player or two...you go to your friends list to invite people and they are watching netflix or just playing other games. If you dont want to play THEN WHY ARE YOU IN THE ELITE CLAN!?!?!? I Love COD...but there are times when I hate an op and I dont want to play but I do it for the clan and the community. Thats what this whole thing is about...Having fun with the group....or not having as much fun...but doing it for the group anyways. We are not pros but we play at their level. Im sure all of us would love to get paid to play COD but we dont. Maybe though just maybe if we keep competing at this level and improving...one day we will have a sponsor or something...and can make money for the clan and community. (Probably a pipe dream but crazier things have happened) Those who are on every week, wether you can only make part of one op or all three hours of all three, it shows that you try and that you support the clan. Those who never even try but spend the time that the ops are going on playing other games. Those are the people who obviously dont care about the elite clan...those are the people who should be cut to make room for others who actually want to try. I may be a newer USMG member...but I know where my commitment lies. Yes life does happen...but when it doesnt...and you have the free time to play online...why shouldnt you spend it playing with the people who need your help and want to have a good time together.

Sorry for the rant it just makes me mad to see those who work so hard to make this all work...and those who could care less basically spit in their face

Chris it's not even close when it comes to thinking if you are "worthy" or if your spot is in danger. The constant reiteration about participation is because honestly we do have people that are never aware about things going on (surprisingly), we have new members almost daily, and we just want to make sure we get max participation from those we can. I am one of those people that do not play in every op, but if I am available and I have time for XBOX then I game it up. If you go a whole month without participating then yeah your spot may come to point where it'll be discussed that the ELITE clan spot might not be the best for you and we can give it someone else who doesn't have so much going on. Any individual that has been cut in the past has be readmitted as long as they requested it. It's not the people who have real-life situations who we are targeting, it's the guy who are playing demolition when we have a domination op, or those people who don't even know we have a website after they apply. Those people do not deserve a spot because of everyone else's hard work.

We know it bothers you guys but don't let someone else's mistake bother you as a whole. Keep in mind that some people do have younger family members that do play, or wives that watch netflix. I know my wife plays XBOX sometime while I am at work or at the gym and that's cool with me. The people who we have a bigger problem with are the ones that repeat offenders of it all. Especially if they aren't posting on the site because in all honesty a general whereabout of where you are, in the OPS thread would be helpful. Just so we know who we can expect on OP day. Many of you sacrifice constantly and thanks really doesn't cut it. We know it's a video game but these OPS can be painful... it's enjoyable to some but for people like myself it's 'work'. I am proud to consider myself a member of this group and your devotion is appreciated from myself. Some people do not like where MW3 ELITE has taken us but we have gained some of the best members this community has ever seen. Some people who would give the shirt off their back to their fellow gamer in the virtual foxhole. Just keep pressing please everyone we are there. Hitting level 50 has GOT to give us some kind of benefit in the future with BLOPS II.

Teddi brotha could not agree more. I almost thought I would have more time gaming once my contract ended with the Marines. I know realize boy was I wrong. I am only 4 months out of the Corps with so much going on. Most of the guys who play at night will always see me on and we have some fun times. It's hard with the weekends with Croquet( I know, I know!), soccer, making new canadian friends, working out, spending time with the family (especially my mother). I do my best to make some of the clan ops but I can honestly say right now I play in 1/3 of them at the moment. I participate on the forums and definitely rep the golden tag and titles hard. Billy I could not agree more with what you say. Honestly the only mooching I can see would be from new members until we play with them more and get to know each other. I have been with the clan since December and have seen some of the old embers repping the [M.V] tag standing for Military Vets. I still see the same faces around here and even on XBL from time to time. I know a lot of clan members are married and have children who are young. You guys are truly awesome for finding time. Along with my transition period I dedicate a lot of time to soccer and training since I'll be playing Division III soccer in the fall. All in all I remember when the clan was not even a level 20 clan. Hell I think we just earned the golden tag when I came in ;). I love the guys here and definitely happy some people are getting the issues off their chest. We should not log onto XBL wondering if we still have our golden tag. As for Spec03 I know what you mean about the clan ops and seeing others playing different game types. That even ticks me off and those people are usually pointed out or corrected during the op. Sometimes we do not know when a clan op is happening...I know right?! Any ways we all do our time remember that you start off as a boot licker sometimes, err I mean a PVT. Hahaha <3

I do that all the time, lol. Yeah maybe I was just getting myself psyched out over nothing. I guess I was getting the perception (and i think it only really applies to the kc ops) that if you can't do all the hours of an op you don't want to hear about it.

Its all good though, i wasn't butt hurt or offended or anything, just frustrated with a perceived lack of dedication. But we'll press on towards 50 and its my goal to enjoy every step on the way.

I know for me I work long hours during the week, weekend is the only time I see any of my family. I participate in ops as I can without causing issues within my family. I know this is a great community with understanding. I think this thread, and I hope I'm gearing it right, is just about coming together more often if you can. Don't let the same people pull the load on the ops all the time. I'm guessing that's what it's about.

I know for me if I can do more I will, just let me know what I can do to help.

I know at times it may seem asthough we are arguing and coming apart at the seams. I see people talking aboutan issue and I just try to provide some feedback but I’m a proby and shouldprobably not do that. I do believe we all know the problems and we know who needsto start pulling their weight. I am in for every op but I’m new here and stillgetting to know many of you. I like many am proud to be a part of thiscommunity. All the talk about cuts and participation is draining to me. My headhurts. I had a major that keep repeating himself, if you guys do this or that you’llget an article 15. I got so sick of that crap. The way I feel about that makethe cut the rest of us don’t need to hear about it. Let the individual find apm or message in their in box explaining why and what. I had a major that keep repeating himself, if you guys do this or that you’llget an article 15. I got so sick of that crap. The way I feel about that makethe cut the rest of us don’t need to hear about it. Let the individual find apm or message in their in box explaining why and what. For the people that I have meet and game with Ithink you are the best, yes you to Kant ,LOL. With that said ALL THE WAY ,SIR. Airborne.

Well I'll just say this: I'm happy to step down voluntarily. I'm pretty much done with MW3, though I will most likely play BlOps 2. I was happy to help out in the ops I could, but something about CoD changed. Maybe I just got worse, I don't know. That being said, some people have mentioned annoyance at people playing other games during clan ops. To me, it is the other way around (and yes, I am guilty of playing other games during ops, though never different game modes in MW3). Getting invites in the middle of playing another game is highly annoying. I will not switch games just because of an invite. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the invites but I love playing with you guys and there's not a single member I've played with that I wouldn't play with again. Just my take.

Remembering the clan ops is getting harder. I am getting burned out with COD right now and I dont really want to play it. I do make all ops that I can, but i Have stopped trying to get top 6. I think I only made top 6 once anyway. Now, if I end the 3 hours with a working controller still in my hands, its been good time. :flame:

Let's play and do what we do best, have fun and making it look easy. Not many clans above us, nor is there a community better than us.

I'm going to make every OP that I can and if I can't, I'm sure you guy's and gal's will understand.
