How the hell do you get skill books?!!! I've wasted the last hour tryin to figure out how to get a skill book do I can finish this mission. I need an industry skill book to do a blue print. I tried buying one off of the market and when I purchased it I don't know how to get it.

The patient way is thru the tutorials as you do missions you get them for free. I not knowing at bought them in the market wasting the little money I have.

I am doing the tutorial. After I finished the basic one. For my career I selected industry did 2 missions and the 3rd they want me to manufacture something but blue print says I need Industry skill book. Which is odd because my mining is lvl2 which is under industry...

Check your inventory. If they didn't give it to you, then go to the market and scroll down to Skills. Buy it, THEN check your inventory, it will be there. Open your Skill training queue and drag the Industry Skill book into the training queue.

Yeah I bought that one I couldn't find it in the missions either. I think Ireland you have to buy it. It is less than 20,000

Check your inventory. If they didn't give it to you, then go to the market and scroll down to Skills. Buy it, THEN check your inventory, it will be there. Open your Skill training queue and drag the Industry Skill book into the training queue.

I right click it then say Train to level 1 it will throw it to the top of your training queue for you.

I placed my order within my station, and paid asking price. Checked my wallet and it deducted it. But nothing was in my inventory. I was still listed under buyers. Nothing in inventory. Am I buying from other people?

Don't buy from the bottom list(the ppl &places highlighted in green), just the Station your docked at.

Also, check all the cargo holds. Your stations hold, your ships etc. it may be that your just looking in h wrong spot. Happens to me ALL the time....

On the neocom, there's a little safe icon. Check that. It's a list of all assets you own, and on what stations they are located at. The top half of the market is the sellers list, and these are spread anywhere from your specific system to the entire region. If it's listed on the region, you may have been buying books that were on different stations, which means you need to go pick it up.

Once i get settled down and im able to log in for eve ill see what spare skill books i have and ill let usaa 3 have dibs at them.
