View Full Version : EVE?
So here's a question for all you EVE players. I considered playing this a few years ago, but lost sight of it for some reason. Looking at it now, it looks even better than what I remember seeing. I'm debating on playing though, because I don't spend too much time on my computer. Knowing this, is it worth trying/playing?

If you start this game, be prepared to let it run your life lol
The thing I like most about Eve is the fact that I don't always have to be online farming lvl5 Orcs to better my toon. I can't play a lot durring the week, and sometimes my weekends can be sketchy at best. But the skills are trained in Real Time, and I can log on for an hour or so to mine ore if I want or just to adjust a buy order on the market. I play it because I like MMOs and if I have a hectic week/end, I always have time to login to set my training. Give it a go, any even player can send u a 21 day trial if u wanta test it out to see if it fits ur lifestyle. I'm not sure how to do that yet but I'm sure someone else will chime in that does lol

If u want to play an MMO that u dont need to play to better ur guy eve is ur man. What i love most about EVE is exactly what roland said. U can set ur training for ur skills and u can log off after and ur toon will still be training. I am a 3 year vet in eve and i took breaks here and there cuz of not having a good corp to play with. But now i have the USMG and im back for a good while. All players are valuable assets to a corp. U just need to know what ur wanna do in the game.
Yeah, it's pretty annoying having to grind to level. So that seems like it'll be a plus. I think I might try it out today.
I do the mercenary type missions that you find in every larger station. the mining can be tedious. I play it some at work and then about an hour a night after I play xbox. otherwise I train my guy while doing other stuff offline. the fact that I am bettering my weapons and defenses with training while i am not logged in is pretty cool. there is a free trial so you can try it.
