Recruiting for First United Brotherhood [USMG1]

Hey guys i am writing this thread to announce that when we are all settled back in our new home of FUB or USMG1. I will ne recruiti.g again. I would also like to announce the two new recruiters for our corp Jeffro and Havok to assist me in recruiting endevors for the corp. If u two have any issues with this assignment plz let me know on here, by pm, or in game and i will choose another candidate for ur spot. Now, with recruiting we must be diligent of new recruits and possible recruits. That being said i wish to go over a few things that we will be doing in the corp. They are as follows:

1. All recruits will serve a 1 month trial period where they will go through an autopromotion system handled by me.
2. New recruits will submit API Checks in their applications. If their api does not check out or we cant verify their api they will not be allowed in.
3. We will allow military anx civilians within our ranks following our charter for required age limit. 18+ for military and 21+ for civies.
4. If a recruit is a civie and he/she is below the age requirement. The applicant will need a recommendation from a recruiter of corp member that is past the 1 month probabtion period. No Exceptions!!!!
5. If a recruit is claming military we will need to know what branch, last duty station, years of service, and job description. If they are military they can provide this easily. The reason i bring this up is becuz we alrdy had a guy try to fake his way into USMG.
6. After the month trial is over we will extend am offer to join our comunitty and they will be required to have our logo in their bio.

I would suggest that for number 4, that if they don't meet the age requirement that they not be allowed in. Possible exceptions being DEP.

RGR thx for the pointer, i was thinking if they were 18 and they were in the DEP program or a recruit was 20 they ould be allowed in but the 20 age is if they have a recommendation from a member or recruiter.

I was thinking more along these lines:

If a recruit is a civie and he/she is the age of 18 and he/she is in the DEP program for whatever branch they are joining, they are allowed in. If a recruit is at the age of 17 the recruit will not be allowed in. No Exceptions!!!!
All other civilian recruits will be taken on a case by case basis and will need a USMG sponsor, as originally conceived.

Remember, the ratio is not a goal to be reached ASAP.

Once u get a handle of the game and u get int a good grove Teddi, if u want i can add u to the reruitment team for EVE. Once we establish our base of OPs and get moving towards our goals of low sec and then on from there, we will need all the help we can get becuz once we gte to low sec thats when we will start our alliance and bring in more new blood lol.

I'm still not sure exactly what I am doing. I finished the 50 mission epic arc and started doing another couple of missions before I realized that I was doing the tutorial missions again, but on the Gallente side. :) Got a new ship though. :)

The Catalyst? I have 2 of them. I am doing the Epic Arc now, I am going to venture a little farther once I am done to find some other race missions.

Nah, it's a Navitas. I am actually considering finishing so I can get another set of ships, but I'll probably have an alt to that. Right now I think I am going to work on moving my stuff to the home base.

That you did sir, and they look stellar. I just meant the bit I suggested, is it ok with everyone. This thing isn't my baby, so I'm not gonna step on toes. I just want the rules to be straight all around the Community so we can continue without confusion. :)

Yea ur bit is fine by me man, when we start recruiting again the age limit will follow our charter unless we are contacted by a civie that is under the age limit of 21. Then it will be case by case basis or he/she hasa reccomendation from a recruiter or member in the corp or community.

I've been meaning to do that to get more tutorial-like "training" on the racial differences (mainly lasers, missiles, and drones.)

My only question/concern on that is how you're going to verify that somebody is DEP.

For active/veteran & even some dependents, you can have various conversations and look for certain lingo and/or knowledge. But a DEP isn't going to have that yet. They can't explain what BRM means or give you even a partial definition of an M-16 unless they look it up online. (For that matter, I couldn't quote the exact definition any more, but I could spit out enough of it to verify that I *used* to know it.)

Well, if they're DEP, then they've enlisted. Ask them MEPS questions....asvab, duck walk, etc....ask about the oath, ask for Basic info.....where, when, what MOS, how was the recruiter, what did he promise you, what duty station are you shooting for or were you assigned to.....there's plenty to ask, and this is all info you'll know while you're DEP.


Hell, when I was DEP, we had mandatory monthly PT weekends. I was well aquainted with the simple wonders of Front-Back-Go well before I left for basic.......or so I thought.

I was in DEP for 3 weeks, so I'm actually not at all familiar with what a DEP might be expected to know. I only made one trip to MEPS. I did the physical, swearing in, and MOS selection all basically the day before I shipped.

Then I spent 2 weeks in reception. :D
