The sad thing is, the press just labels this ObamaCare, even those most of it, is not his original proposed PPACA (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patient_Protection_and_Affordable_Care_Act).
In its current iteration, its more like CongressCare, or MitRomeyCare, based on the outline of the Massachusetts heath care reform of 2006. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massachusetts_health_care_reform) Which that doofus, completely forgets passing.. :doh:

Really, IMO what we need, is Congress to re-institute the regulations as prior to the Reagan presidency, and we would have more Unions, lower insurance cost, and lower medical costs, but since the government is so in the pocket of big business, thats not gonna happen, and the super rich will continue to get rich, and the low to middle class will continue to lose their ass, and in the next 20 years, I would not be surprised if the country has a civil war again.. Just like the greeks, romans, germans, British, US,... etc. etc..

If history has taught us anything, its only a matter of time.. Oppressing the population of a country to further your personal agenda, is typically something government should see as a bad idea..

I hate to say it, but what we need is another Bill Clinton.. The man may of been an ass-grabbing playa, but he knew how to take care of the country, and IMO, was the best president this country had.

You said that right smoke, this bill is what Reagen and Bush senior wanted, I can't remember in the village idiot wanted it, but the indivual mandate has been something the R wanted for years before the party was high jacketed by the big companies using the Far right of the party to take over. there are 15 to 20 million that make good money but don't buy health care, now once they get really sick they end up on medicaid and we pay with out them ever paying in. Let me tell you a 20 to 30 prevention of HTN with drugs and life style changes (since they health care and go to the doctor) is well under the cost of a grade 1 stroke. The best part of this bill i like is no more pre-existing condition and my kid can stay on my insurance until they are 26 if they end up getting an advanced degree.

Yeah, there are a few good thing in this bill, but the bad far out way the good in this one. Basically if you are a middle class American who does everything legit, and by the book, you get fucked on this. Smoke is right this country is run by big business and the media is part of that big business now too. This country is definitely in need of a revolution.

That is true!! I forgot what state is was that never removed a candidate from the ballet after he passed away, and fucking won the election. People vote on political party, or 1 issue and know nothing about the candidates they vote for. In NY the police still supervise the election pole locations, and when I'm assigned this I like to ask people who they picked for Assemblymen, or something like that. The response is alway, "whoever the democratic candidate was". They don't even know the name of the candidate. It could be a fucking circus monkey running for office, and as long as its in the dem column they get the vote. In my opinion, they should remove the parties from the ballet. Make people do some research on all who are running. But that will never happen.
