Alright ladies and gentlemen and Jack. I am creating this thread to find out who will be playing this game when it releases in August. I also want to know what callsing u want to go by and plz lets not make it offensive. Also lets take it to a little bit more since i found a cool page on the webiste. Lets also list what play we will be shooting for like Assualt, Recon, Scout, etc etc. And what mech we want to pilot for the Corp.

As far as im tracking right now Obtained, its going to be PC only, but u will be able to use an XBOX controller for it.

I'm not decided yet, although I did love me some Mech Warrior back in the day. My dance card's kinda full with EVE and DUST.

If I do get into MWO, I'll probably go scout/recon and stick with the medium/light mechs. I do particularly like the look of the Commando, actually.

Is there going to be another beta before release, or no? I was thinking of trying it out, but I'm not sure how much I'll like it. I've always been interested in the MW titles, but I've never gotten around to playing it, so I would like to make sure I'm not going to be dropping money on a PC game which I end up not liking (yet again).

I'm curious, what sort of system do they have in place to keep script kiddies from ruining the game?

Apparently early access starts Aug. 7 due to the founder titles. I will be getting my founder status next paycheck so i can get access to it. I know Kopfe Jager had access to the beta. He can probably give u more info.

OK, so with the publication of the founders' offers, it looks like I'll definitely be playing at least for a little while.

It'll give me something besides DUST to do when we're grounded (wardecced) in EVE.

So, with the benefits from being a founder, it looks like my preferred mechs are going to be the Jenner and the Catapult, with the Atlas as my 3rd option.

I agree except my prefered mech will probably be the Catapult and the Awesome, with the Dragon as my 3rd.

Battle mech simulation is one of the few types of games where I think a console-style controller is definitely better than keyboard/mouse. (Tank & helicopter simulators also.)
