I'm headed to Kyrgyzstan at the end of July for 179. Anyone been there recently and can give me a heads up of what I am in for?

You won't mind it too much. Pete's Place is about as good as it gets there. Chow hall is pretty legit and all the sports activity shit is there with a pretty good gym and shitty indoor bball court. If you are actually deploying there I am sure that the living conditions are better than the transient shit. Just make sure you stay active and don't be a dorm rat. Oh and if you have to take a shit there are some sweet ass shitters in the PERSCO building lol.

Haha yeah I'll be there for 6 months. And it sure beats Cadillac row.

My MXG/CC is the vice wing commander there right now... Cool dude. I was asked to go for 60 days starting next month because they had to send someone home from my base cause they were a piece of shit, but I'm deploying in Nov so i didn't want to go back to back like that. Not sure yet if in going to the Deid or Mans Ass. Maybe I'll see you in a couple months :D

Awesome. I'm assuming you're maintenance? I'm aerial port so if you are there, we will be crossing paths for sure.

I was deployed there for 6. It wasn't that bad but it got to boring and slow as time went on.. the steak and lobster dinner every Sunday should still be in effect still.. overall try to do as much as you can to move time..
