My mom and boss were hacked and I got emails about weight loss and making money at home.

The big problem with this is a lot of people use the same username + password combo for multiple websites, so if the hackers are smart, they can hack a lot of people's other accounts with this info too.

Well I hoped most of you guys, being mostly military and civilians who work in secure environments would known that, and I suspect most of the others here do too. But most people have common sense significantly below what I usually see here.

I tried to change my live account to my own exchange but it wouldn't let me :p I always use my own for everything personal and msn for crap stuff but I couldn't remove the msn email from live it wouldnt do it

There is a way to change the email account on the live account. It is done on the Xbox itself. I haven't tried it yet.

I have the Game from the store, but I bought it on live too and I feel it runs better fully installed and no disc errors. Wish I could do that from release date on all my games

It's bullshit! You have to have a live id to change it to? You can't just link your account to your own email account with your own isp. On Ps3 I just link it to my own email and it's done. Microsoft want you to have a hotmail/live email bullshit and link to that with no other option. Why the fuck can't we just use our normal emails? I cant even change mine now for 30 days either. Only once every 30 days? Lame as F!

Mine is linked to live. It's ok. Go to the website and use whatever email you want to,set up your live new live account. Then go to the console and move your live gamer tag to the new account. My email is adamer@sd5.k12 etc. yeah not putting that whole thing haha

I cant do that because the address my hotmail is linked to is an address I had about 10 years ago and have no longer. Everytime I try to change anything online Xbox/live whatever it says it will send me some crap shit code to activate it?? to that old address which I can't seem to clear off it :p
