Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 July Content Drops Detailed, Dated

The next content drop/drops for Modern Warfare 3 will be landing for Xbox 360 Elite Premium members July 17 and PlayStation 3 Elite Premium members July 19, Activision has announced.

Xbox 360 players will receive four exclusive pieces of content, starting with three new multiplayer maps. Decommission takes place in an ocean liner graveyard, Offshore is set on an oil rig out at sea, and, making its Modern Warfare 3 debut, the Modern Warfare 2 favorite, Terminal, lets you battle through that game’s infamous Russian airport map. (Terminal will be free for all 360 players on July 18). Elite Premium members will also get a new Spec-Ops mission, entitled Vertigo, set around the Oasis hotel.

PS3 Elite Premium members can expect three new Face Off maps--Vortex is set on a tornado-ravaged farm, U-Turn lets you battle across a Middle Eastern highway, and Intersection plops you in the streets of New York City--and a new Spec-Ops mission, Arctic Recon, tasks you with crippling a Russian warship.

Haha, regardless I am looking forward to it. I didn't. Realize PS3's ELITE was that far behind XBOX

Yep. CoD has an agreement with Microsoft to bring DLC to them first.

Oh so there were no new weapons for Xbox? And here I was thinking I was going to get to play with some cool weapons when I got back on.

Well can't say I'm surprised. Don't think CoD has ever had a weapon drop DLC. For that, you need to play Battlefield. :D :trolling:

So I was on infinity wards Facebook and noticed that they do free codes for map packs. So if your fast you can get maps free if your free elite. Also no official mention of ak-74 but it's on their pic, I think it was on their weapon list and it changed.
