Yeah, you read that title right.

One of the favorite games of several USMG members may be getting another installment in the series. In an "Asked and Answered" session on Rockstar Games' website, questions were asked regarding sequel to the hit Red Dead Redemption. These are the specific questions, followed by the answers:

Awesome, we love Red Dead too – and are thrilled that so many of you loved John Marston’s tale and are excited for more epic Western action. As we mentioned in our last set of Asked & Answereds to similar questions about the future of other game franchises like Bully and L.A. Noire, we don’t always rush to make sequels but that does not mean that we won’t get to them eventually. Stay tuned for further announcements about the future of the Red Dead series.

This is the most awesome news ever! :D

I wrote to them ages ago with our Clan discussion and suggestions (remember about the prequel idea and stuff?) cos yes I really am that sad lol! Anyway they said pretty much the same to me then. This is my favourite game ever! Didn't really enjoy LA Noire and dabbled with MAX Payne 3 this week but from the tiny amount I played it, it was definitely more LA Noire than RDR.

I loved it and so did Max but not everyone feels the same lol.

I love the multiplayer side of it too which is probably why me and Max both like it so much... cos we could play together on all the different levels. You have multi coop as well as the shoot outs and then there's poker and free roam. Then there's the zombies add on which is basically a whole new game and for the money it is phenomenal what you get altogether. You can play it for months and months and still never finish or get bored lol. If you like trophy hunting then RDR has tons to offer too! Not unachievable shit either, I think I've pretty much got close to every trophy, almost 100% bar a couple of online multiplayer ones, and with relative ease. Some tricky ones too but good achievable challenges.

You could surely pick up a second hand copy really cheap now so I'd definitely check it out. Hell I may even get it for xbox and play it all over again with you! :)

Yeah, that sounds like fun, and if your willing to do that it must be a good game. I think my brother-in-law has it, i'll see if I can borrow it from him. If not, I can just buy it new. Its probably half the price with a sequel coming out anyway!! :)

Did you like GTA? Do you have any interest in Westerns? If you answered yes to both, this game will blow you away woth it's awesomeness.

It'll be hard, but go in to it expecting it to be a nominal GTA with horses, ranches, and sixshooters. Then you'll get an exceptional experience. The story is not Mass Effect, but it's engaging nonetheless. The mechanics are improved GTA. And the open world is awesome, even moreso than GTA was. Especially the first time you're riding at night, and find a couger stalking you and your horse.


I have a lot of good memories of this game. Far more than I expected.

Pretty good game. I played single player for a while and was cracking up at the dialog and then when all of my buddies got online we started running around trying to get guns and I got sniped from forever away which sucked. But when we took revenge on the long scoper I shot her horse so we could all catch up on our mules and it said at the bottom of the screen, ZacXier shot "whats-her-name" horse's face off. We all died laughing.

i want to say it shouldn't be region-specific since it's only taking the digital input signals (on or off, 1 or 0) from the one controller and making the system think it's coming from the other but i've never had any experience with it so i can't be certain

There on EBay for $80 but it's coming from Hong Kong. I wouldn't buy from there because there fake, and you will probably get cancer after opening the package!! Lol!!
