This is more or less a forum in regards to those individuals who have been kicked from ELITE due to their failure on their behalf to help the clan out by any means necessary. If they are wanting their spot back then this is where they will approach the ELITE clan in a constructive fashion and appeal to us ELITE folks their case to return. This isn't to serve for humiliation purposes, this is to public acknowledge that you are going to help the clan out, everyone can see it and then if your time comes up again when your head is on the chopping block you will have no excuses.

Maybe it would help them out if they were also consistent with a green team member who is on everyday to verify that they are up to playing in the game and ops. I'm on every night so if they want to run with me, I can be the one to make sure they aren't just goofing around

I don't see that this is necessary. We're all adults here - we don't need to play mommy for every member. We can see after the clan ops who participated. If they want to run solo, they can, they just need to play the appropriate game mode. They need to decide if they want to be here, not us hold their hand to make it so.

More or less I am depending on our senior members to help bring the new blood in. No event really sprung this topic up, I am just thinking instead of having people post here then all over the place just do it here.

True! Than why do we need to go around and post the same stuff about people not participating. If they don't and they have a problem with it, than have them pm the person who is in charge of ELITE or whatever game their having an issue with. Why let everyone know their problem or issue when they can keep it private. Not going to lie but I, along with others, don't really care to hear about peoples bitches and gripes as to why they where kicked off of ELITE. More or less, I'm tired of seeing thread after thread and post after post of why people are kicked. If they want to know why, again, contact a green member or someone who is on staff. Waist of a thread in my opinion

Because you really can't kick them for being inactive when they didn't know they had to be active to keep their spot. We have to let them know the expectations. But after we let them know, we're not going to hold their hand. And the reason it's public is because it's something that applies to everyone.

Last time I checked, in order to hold a USMG spot in ELITE, you have to at least play some ops vs not play any at all

Exactly. And they know that because we told them. You have to have everyone know the rules before the rules can be enforced.

Maybe there needs to be a online sit down with a person who is brought on so they know the in's and out's on the ELITE side. That way they're not confused as to what needs to done. Cause the ole "I didn't know and I forgort" doesn't go over to well with me

You're right, that is probably something everyone should be briefed on upon joining. I'm sure that will be the case in future, if it's not already.

How about when they are being viewed during the application process or in the game? Once they are told once, then from that point on they are reliable for the their actions from that point on. Cause from what I see in the forums. Are "Welcome to the community/clan" and that's it. If we are considered to be all adults here on the site, than their actions will speak for themselves and if they are kicked. There should be no bitchin as to why they where kicked.

The purpose of the Green Team is to voice verify all individuals and explain the rules to them. Thats why some applications take a few days because we are waiting for both of us to be online. When the XBOX party is on the rules and whats expected of you are explained. I know some people haven't received this process but I have always done this with the recruits. That is also why I have gone to all lengths to contact the inactive people because I am not certain they were explained all the rules.

You and I both know that is rarely the case Rob. Like I said this just a controlled area for people who have problems to address them. If people come back on amicable terms I will happily reinstate them. Sometimes people genuinely need a break but people who haven't posted since their introduction are dead weight for us and they do not deserve to reap the benefits of our hard work.

You know how in the military they have quarterly classes. Like the infamous sexual harassment course. Why don't we implement a quarterly thread to make sure everyone is in tune to the policys that come with being an ELITE member. That way we can see who is paying attention in the forums. If they aren't in the forums to see it due to absence, then they should have a leave thread posted. It also eliminates the "I forgot or I didn't know". Pretty much all they have to do is go into the thread and say they understand and agree to the terms of being an ELITE member. This is also good cause it gets new members in tune to what they may have forgotten during their transitions from probationary to full membership status

Rog I will definitely look into that. Contractual obligations can get messy though haha. But something along those lines could be a great idea.

All it is, is getting everyone in tune to whats required to be apart of the ELITE squad. I'm not looking to diss anyone or make anyone feel stupid. I just want to make sure people are aware and know what will happen if they are not active in clan ops. They don't have to make all of them but they can at least make some contribution to gaining points. Also, they need to know whats required if they are absent for any reason. That's all :acool:

When I talk to new recruits its the same, even if someone else verified them, i tell them about participation if they want to join Elite.

Angel told me everything when I was voice verified. This is not a hard concept to understand. Participate when you can....I think the problem is some people participate when they want to though. Everyone is burned out and instead play other game types,or different games. Its frustrating to be forcing your way through a 3 hour op while others are playing other games.
I also understand sometimes other people are on USMG accounts. Its hard to tell who is doing what and when.
If the problem is your burned out...talk to a green guy. I'm sure you green guys agree...you would rather be told that, than see a member avoiding the ops.
We all have lives that are more important than any game we play, and that is why the rules are set up the way they are. Take advantage, but don't take them for granted.
I think this thread will help make sure nobody takes the rules for granted. Jared(Kant to all the new members) has made his intentions about elite clear. He has shown that he will go the extra mile to contact each member before cutting them. Nobody realizes how much time he takes out of his life to do things like that, when he shouldn't have to. If it becomes that much of a problem and that member won't make effort to type in a few words on the site, then why should Jared put in the extra effort.
The point is TALK TO THE GREEN GUYS! If you do that first than you can avoid having to deal with this whole thread!

Just my opinion.....:peace:

I see why this is brought up and this is no offence to you Kant but this happened with pak as well when he was in charge because i was booted off the elite back then and since my son was just born i was upset about it. but back to what i was gonna say is there is a thread on the site somewhere that states the elite rules so if we don't mention to the newbies once they are recruited on cod i suggest to atleast let them know over the mic about the thread or when they do their intro someone say their hi's and hello's then post post the thread link and let them know they need to read it then JIC have them back brief what the thread states. keeps us from running into these problems and also keeps us from arguing about these issues online. we have to keep our esprit de corp if you would up within the clan

This is understanding but the issue itself wasn't Pak. It was people falling off the planet for a few months are. His approach was just less friendly. The rules have been explained any time someone puts an application they are explained. Life happens and I understand that and people need to take breaks etc. Which is perfectly understandable but would you want someone benefiting for your hard work constantly and be ungrateful for it? If something happens I have an open door policy on everything but this is just the nature of the beast and will continue to be so, to make room for future recruits especially for BLOPS.

I'm not sure if I've been kicked or not. Just wanted to say I haven't been on for a while and not going to be able to for a bit longer. Work has got me tied down and by no fault of my own, it pays my bills not playing games, so If I'm kicked , then I'm kicked. I'll be on when I can. Until then you guys have fun and I'll catch you when I can.
