As if dealing with them for disability issues isn't enough, try going through the job application process with them. I've been trying for years to get employment in the supply section of our local VA hospital, tying my qualifications to my supply specialist MOS (92Y) that I had for the entire 20+ years I was in the Army. Still no luck. I'm convinced it's all in "who" you know versus "what" you know in dealing with them.

Or explain why it's so hard to process a request. And Raging has a point, when was this mystical time that you assumed they weren't stupid as fuck?

Unfortunately that goes with every job that is military related. In the intel field, its not about how much you know in the field of work but who you know that works for the company to get you in. Blows but what do you expect from jobs now a days
I got good jobs since and no VA or buddy help. It did help to have reference letters from the joint chiefs and commander of V corps in Germany.
