Just reaching out to other PS3 BF3 players that typically find themselves enjoying more of the hardcore game setting in BF3 on the PS3. Do you generally find that HC games will typically have a slower more cautious approach to hunting/fighting vs. the chaotic run & gun Rambo style found in normal game modes? Has anyone found any specific servers that might be player owned that cator to tactical play?
If anyone has found any please let me know. Also, if we aren't PSN linked please send me an invite (tw0sh0t2112).
IF there aren't any player ran servers that anyone knows of. Does anyone think that it would be worth the investment to set one up that cators to the crouch, aim, and stay alive DON'T DIE approach to playing BF3?
Thanks for any ideas/suggestions/comments.

I believe SgtNordel has his own server but it's not hardcore. I'd ask SgtNordel if its worth the investment because it seems to me its hit or miss getting people to fill the server unless you get the word of mouth that it is a good server to play on. That's just my opinion.

There are servers that run hardcore modes, you just have to browse for them. I wouldn't recommend a private server if that's all you want.

You might check with Cpl_USMC who we were playing with tonight. I know he used to play alot of HC. Actually I think we need to start playing it more anyway, cause I need to get my sniper assignments done...LMAO!

Well, last night was the first time in a good long while that I played with the group. What a huge impact that made with us all staying together, communicating, and working together to whoop some ass. That last game last night was awesome. It's such a huge difference playing with the group than running with a PUG.

I have to agree ... in fact the thing that I hate most (and it thankfully doesn't happen much) is when I'm the only USMG on at what ever time ... so I
try paying with randoms, get bummed cuz it's more fun running with the group and log off. *LOL*

I am not sure if you jumped in the game prior to when we teamed up, but we had another squad of USMG with us. When we have other squads, switch your voip to team, and we can all talk together. Definitely makes the game worth playing! :fencing:
We had some great comeback games last night, even if we didn't win them all!

I think we had the most epic comeback ever last night. It was myself, Mardi, Jack and Tracker (I believe), we were down to 1 ticket with the enemy having somewhere around 20, and we capped the 2nd of the 3 points to start melting their tickets down. We all held our ground and survived to win the match! With 1 ticket left!!!!! FUCKING INSANE!!!!.....then half the other team quit lol

That's awesome! Probably beats the time we almost came back from a 70-350 deficit and ended up losing 1-0. Stupid randoms. PTFO!

Was that with the DSA guys? They were pretty tight.

I think so, after playing for hours and hours, I sometimes forget stuff like which map it was or what game type. Hell, sometimes I even forget who I played them with!

I played at lunch today, and ended up on one of the AIR servers. They were rolling 8 deep and dominated, but it was fun to tag them every once in awhile! The randoms were hanging back sniping, so I would sneak around and come up tag bagging...LMAO! Suprisingly they never kicked me, probably cause I was the only one giving them something to do.
