burning question, what are we going to call our next main battle tank? Since we seem to name them after Generals, the M2 Custard just does not sound menacing enough so what generals are left? Some of the most recent names are so hard to spell most D.A.T's would get a no go in just spelling their new tank.

Well, it won't be the M2 - that's already the Bradley. Let's see...we've used Sherman, Pershing, Sheridan, Patton, and Abrams. Surely there's more than that. Since I assume it would be an army general, just select one from this list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_Army_four-star_generals

When researching generals, I did not realize the Air Force had more 4-stars than the Army. That's interesting.

I say screw the generals, and name it after Staff Sergeant Lafeyette G. Pool. Arguably the best tanker of World War 2.

They were named after a pair of infantryman, at least so goes the rumor. And why would they name it after a Cav guy? Strykers aren't Cav vehicles.

Sgt, I was thinking the Lafayette MBT.

really don't know I thought since it goes fast it should be named after a cav guy, remember i served in the 80's so I not that up on the new equipment or aircraft. Just was wondering if it was named after anyone could not find it on the web. I will say I always thought the Germans had the cool name for there MBT after bad-ass cats.

Griffith or Funk.

1st AD and 3rd AD commanders during Desert Storm.

Personally, I like Funk.

If it is called the rape wagon, it should fire giant dildos instead of shells.
