I have the Astro A40's and I love em!! The A50's just came out so I don't know how much better they are. The only thing I noticed different is the fact that they are completely wireless. Tritton's are far less expensive but I've heard they break real easy so if your ruff with your headset, or have kids I wouldn't recommend them.

Well, I have Turtle Beach X41's, and Astros, and I like the Astros better. Big difference is sound quality, and with the Astros you can't hear your own voice, where as TB's you can. Kind of like a phone. Just means when you rage you here yourself being a bitch!! Lol!!

I tend to rage quite a bit so I think the Astro's will be the go to's. I like the wireless ones too

Big thing is cost, both are good!! The new A50 Astros are going to sell for $300. Kind of expensive, but you can use them on all consoles, and PC, iPod, iPad, etc!!! The A40's should drop in price now that a new set is out. I hate wireless headsets, I can't stand changing batteries!! Lol!!

I've had TBs break on me in multiple places. First the mic housing just fell apart (fixable with glue), and then the headband itself snapped while I was taking them off one day. I was very careful with them; they just weren't very well made. From what I gather, a lot of people have had great experiences with TB stuff, but I personally wouldn't recommend them.

If your talking about Astros, than no, you can only get them on there website, astrogaming.com. I think I read somewhere they may start dealing with Bestbuy, but you will just end up paying more. Turtle Beach you can buy everywhere!!

no , no echo, I have had to turn down my voice level on the xbox itself. I had that when I was using the free hadset when I was in texas.

Whats nice is you can hook a second headset to the little controller box that is the wireless transmitter hooked to the xbox so if your split screening 2 people have headsets.

That's freaking awesome. I'm going to the P.X to check to see if they have them or go to the nearest Best Buy. I'm in need of a headset lol. The ones that come with the console aren't quite doing what I need them to do

I see myself using a set of 2 AA's every week, I know many use rechargables. It takes 2 AA's to run and then when it says battery low you have 5 -10 minutes,

I saw that the XP400's have a rechargable battery. That's something I need to have. Having to go through 2 AA batterys a week is expensive. That's why I bought a rechargable battery for my controller

We'll see about the MOAB. I'm not pressed for it anymore. I'm a rusher and its hard for me to stay alive after I get my 6 or 7 kill streak. I may take the time to sit around the battle field and wait or someone to come on by lol
