Kant, you should hop on a couple of these. While we don't necessarily need them for 50, they're still good fun and easy to pick up for the people who are actively playing.

I put it to a vote. Lol, not my choice broski.
EDIT: Let's get everything out of the way for 50 and we can get setup for the fun stuff after.

No, you put ops to a vote. Challenges are different.

Meh regardless I really don't see a point in enlisting in anymore challenges it really does nothing for us.

They're easy, fun, and give something to do besides level weapons until Black Ops 2.
It's not like the second we hit 50 the entire clan is going to trade the game in or anything.

You will have to justify it more than it just being fun. I am treating challenges just like OPs. They serve no purpose other than a way to track accolades. We hit 50 many people will fall off because many people have said that, including myself taking a break. I am about 99% certain if I put MW3 in my console my wife will cut me.
So are you handing elite off to someone at 50 , cause some of us do like the challenges and ops. And I really only play mw3 or eve right now.

You could enlist in lone wolf ops or finish prestiging and there's always spec ops.

I hadn't intended to. Not trying to sound like an ass at all but I put the ops to a vote and it was unanimous. Clan challenges, lets just hold off a bit. It won't kill everyone to wait a bit. It's been a long road to 50.

Good point I haven't done a lone wolf yet

Okay, but treating them the same is kind of like treating a notepad and a role of toilet paper the same..... :)
Ops are a three hour grindfest in a single gametype, that recognizes the top 6 premium members.
Challenges take all of 10 minutes per person, per accolade. Can be done by anyone, at any time, over 24 hours. They don't require you to team up in order to be competitive, like certain ops do, and best of all, you don't have to beat your head against a wall because you're stuck playing a gametype you despise. Because they work in any type of game.
Again, just because some people want to quit CoD until Black Ops, doesn't mean everyone does. I understand putting a hiatus on ops, since you're worried about maintaining all golds. I don't see why we need to halt challenges, as long as 2 or 3 people want to do it. Especially when it gives them something to do.

If the 3 hour slog of clan ops is bad, how does an equally long slog solo help anything? Clan challenges are about as difficult as the daily and weekly challenges in the barracks. The ones you accidentally complete without even knowing what they are.

My stance remains no on OPs and a break from challenges. At least a week off. If any further issues arise please PM me. If you want to continue to beat the dead horse have fun.
I'll just go play with some other folks black ops then

I thought we were a democracy here? This is the first we've even discussed challenges.

Do we really need to vote to take a one week break from the madness that is ELITE?

I'm confused, does it reflect negatively on the clan if we enlist is a challenge and don't accomplish it? If it doesn't than it shouldn't really be a big deal if people want to do the challenges. I mean our all gold clan ops will always be there now that we are done with them.

What?
I'm saying I'm gonna play mw3 and since we won't have a presence anymore I can go help a buddies clan. Unless there's an op running. I rarely can get in a USMG party .

A week is fine. You've been suggesting quite a bit more than just a one week break though.

Yes because the majority of the clan wants a break. I think personally nothing is gained from challenges. Outside of XP there is nothing to be gained.
Teddi you are always in my parties so i have no idea what you are speaking of on that premise. I don't think it would be smart for a staff member to leave you know you can game with me anytime.
You guys are forgetting what we are about we are gaming for fun. We have all gotten very wrapped up in ELITE. It seems I am questioned after making every move when we are just here for entertainment. I am questioned for zero ops, recruiting people, not doing challenges, doing challenges, not doing what pakman did or this or that.... everything is fairly copacetic, I thought we all we agreement about ELITE going on break...

Sorry man, I was a road warrior this weekend. 9hours to Seattle party, 5 hours to Spokane, then today 4 more hours and a workout on the way home. I just finally will have more time to play and try the challenges and was upset we won't do em now. Like I have said before I need a delay in my posts or someone to just regulate me. Haha. I don't compare you to pak, cause you don't disrespect everyone when we have these discussions. You listen and respond clearly. Ok no more pak discussion. Elite wise ok break time, but yeah lets game . Also other games too if you want. I don't have but thinking of halo reach playing. I don't think I ever played it. And I want to finish army of 2 40 days and star wars kinect

The majority of the clan want a break from ops. Challenges aren't ops. They don't have the same time commitment, nor the gametype commitment. They're, wait for it, about having a little fun while playing. No one's forgetting anything. No one's comparing you to anyone. No one's even criticising you.
The only thing we had discussed was whether or not we were going to continue ops. We're not talking about ops.

A lot of us are true gamers which means that we enjoy games of all types. My family life, work life, and school are all heavy influences on my ability to game. I have many other games I have been wanting to play but only have so much time to game these days. Ergo why I personally want a break. I am sure others can relate. I know Bull3t had some similar plans. Regardless... that is my stance on the issue. I like completing things and moving on and I feel like we have completed MW3 and shouldn't even bother. I will post a poll and get the communities opinion on the matter. Many of you enjoy CoD.... this doesn't stop you from gaming one bit. MW2 didn't even touch ELITE and I still believe it's a much better game than 3 and 3 times funner. Anyways I will post the poll because in truth it doesn't matter what I or Dave want. The majority wins as always.

I get a kick just playing the game and displaying ass whoopins with other members. As long as members don't get negative kudos for not playing than have at it
