I am a little confused now. I am not sure what to do now that we have moved. If we mine, or do PI, where does it go, or to whom. If you sell your own, where do you sell it.
There are fits for corporate ships. Where do these ships come from? Do you purchase everything on the fit, or is it supplied by the corp. If the later is the case, where do you get it. If the former, then how can I make money to buy these expensive ships?
A question I've wondered before is about the stuff in corp hangers. Who uses that stuff? Can just anyone access it and use it? Is this how you load out a corp fit.
Now that we are in null sec, should we not do anything alone? After we got there I decided to do some ratting in my Rifter. I took out the three who showed up and moved to another field. This time I killed one, but I couldn't get enough damage on a larger one. I guess it was much larger, but I couldn't tell from the description. I later asked how to kill them and was told I couldn't kill rats in a Rifter. :) What do I need to be flying? (See second question above.)
With all of these different comms channels now, which one are we supposed to be using? All at once? How the hell would you keep anything straight?
That's about all for now. Thank you for any assistance you can give.
Good questions. I was planning on heading into the area tonight.

Yeah, I'll be heading out tonight as well, but I'm going to play some MW3 tonight too. Now that we've reached level 50, we're going to mess with other clans. :)
I have a family movie night, I may join the last hour of the op after.
I'm gonna try to move out to Null at work tomarrow since I'm workin a 12...yuk...lol

ANSWER: If you mine or do PI you can decide what to do with it, we are going to ramping up production here shortly and we are going to need a lot of ore. PI, I am trying to get a system worked out for T4 production.

ANSWER: The ships in the corporate fits are the goal to get too, at least the T1Drake fit, we do have stockpile and we can see about selling them to the corp members. Fittings, if we can build it can be supplied/sold, T1 ammo is supplied, talk to Tim Whicked in the game about this.
A question I've wondered before is about the stuff in corp hangers. Who uses that stuff? Can just anyone access it and use it? Is this how you load out a corp fit.
ANSWER: There is a public hangar section, if you see something in there and you need it feel free to use it. Do not take everything, I will hurt you.

ANSWER: You can move alone, just be careful, watch Local channel, and intel channels. If you are in a major fleet and all you can fly is a Rifter, fly it. If you are ratting, I would suggest a Drake, with a heavy shield tank. Ask Alieana for the fitting thaat works.
With all of these different comms channels now, which one are we supposed to be using? All at once? How the hell would you keep anything straight?
ANSWER: I have: Local, Corp, Alliance, USMG Corp office, My personal office, RB leadership, 5 intel channels, and FUB's Lodge. SO, at a minimum ,you will need corp, alliance, local and intel channels (for the region you are currently in) open. I would suggest separating them into two chat windows.
That's about all for now. Thank you for any assistance you can give.

Also concerning question 1, you can sell it to the corp, or on the open market, or use it for your own production.

Awesome info. I had questions on as well. One very simple question for me. What is ratting?

At first i was like "Who Dafuq is this guy?" then I saw your picture.
Ratting is when you go into 'sites' that are not usually on the map, they are also called anomalies, and you kill EVERYTHING NPC in there. Tons of sites, TONS of ISK!
OR
When you go through the Asteroid belts in a system and clear out the NPC ships.

Thank you. I appreciate the answers. I can fly a T1 Drake now. It will take a few weeks to be able to fly the Convicted T2 Drake fit.
Where can we get the corp ships for sale?
I got this off of the Convicted forums. Is this OK to fly?

I am borrowing one of the free rifters today. Since I didn't have too much stuff, Tom Whicked , had me pod destruct after I moved my clone to I7, I basically had to start over, so many great modules I can fit to a free ship til I can build up. That ghetto chick is pretty helpful too. Now I don't know what to do, I usually have been doing missions, but now need guidance.

What is ratting?
To expnd on Tim's answer: "rat" is slang for "pirate".
Ratting is any activity where you're primary goal is killing NPC pirates for bounty/loot: beacons, complexes, anomolies, belt-hopping, etc.

Ok, thanks, but as I have heard last night, not something to do solo. Guys were getting called out for getting killed or corps mates killed.

Well, that's going to suck ass. Usually there's never anyone logged on at the same times as me that does the same stuff.
I have to pretty much do everything solo or do nothing at all.

I may have misunderstood. I haven't read much on the new corp forum or the alliance forum. There are so many places to setup communications.
I just got an evemail from someone in the corp sayin something about loosing T1 indy ships in the EC gate, maybe that's what he's talkin about? I haven't seem very many neutrals at all around I-7 stystem. Course I just got there yesterday and was station-afk due to work lol

Yeah I did the whole move clone then self destruction to get there. So I didn't have any issues . Not sure where EC gate is, but I will avoid it. I am sitting in I7 station cause I don't have missions to run or know what to do.

LOL Teddi, i can help u with that. If u got a combat ship and u see one of our old corp members online and u are in TS3 on our comms or Alliance comms just ask if anyone is mining or ratting. Im sure ull find someone to run with to get isk and lots of it. I made 50 mil just ratting for a few hours with Dan and Nordak. So dont feel shy and ask what people are doing. Someone is doing something nearby

If, I am on I'll rat with you. I love doing that. I've even done a little of it solo in my Rifter and got a couple of kills, but it is pretty much impossible to get enough damage on the bigger ships to kill them. I usually end up jumping right in the middle and getting shot at by all of them. I never really made the connection to "aggro" in this game like it is in Wow. Perhaps I shouldn't try to take them all on all at once. :) Running high-sec missions, it was never a problem as I alpha'd most of the rats with the T2 guns on my Rifter, or Thrasher.

EC gate is the first system u enter when u leave torrinos. I was watching the EC gate intel channel yesterday and it was pretty hot at most times lol Null sec is difinitely like playing a completely different game lol

Wow . OK. Good think I didn't try just jumping to get to I7. I would have lost everything.
Yeah I was gonna ask last night about going to do something. But I have been getting on so late I fall asleep. Haha. I trained for the Rifter last night and am ready for a drake. I fear being such a noob that I wont last long. I have been using 3-4 drones and ecm's to win battles lately I rarely was even activating my rail guns. I will ask to tag along when I see guys on.

yeah so that will about do it for me on EVE.
I cant do shit or afford anything and any skills are 19 jumps away in low or null sec, talk about easy target. WTF. I blocked out a few hours to play today, I spent 2 trying to do something but basically just went from dock to dock wasting time. a rifter or velator cant to much if your not trained in projectile turrets, and I wish I had waited to join Risk Breakers, it is for you guys who have played a while. I cant progress unless I beg for stuff.

You can stay outside of null doing missions for a while.

LOL i here ya Teddi, DOC is in the same boat, he uses Rifters to rat with us and he makes decent isk, he also provides Orca support with mining fleets. If u need any help man i can help when im online. I dont want to see one of our members being disgruntled about being in Null Sec.

I think what you need to do is NOT do solo stuff. Those of us that are of lower skill level need to band together and rat, etc. We don't have enough DPS to do it alone.

Yeah, but EVE is an MMO still. You don't raid Onyxia the day after you create an account in WoW. And you're not going to have the skills to survive solo in Null sec right away either.
Even with that though, you have options. You can stick to highsec and do missions until you can get the necessary skills trained with other players like Roguescot suggested. You can go nullsec and make sure you're constantly fleeted up with other players who can help cover you until you've got the skills trained that you need. You can ask people to pick up stuff for you when they do logistics runs, so you're not flying solo as easy meat, and just pay them back.

Are there corp Drakes that cost less than 48 mil? That's about what they are in Jita.

It'll be a while before I have the techs for the fittings for the T1 Drake, but I was able to complete my T1+ Cat salvager today, so I'll be a bit less useless.
Pretty much all I'm good for at this point though.

48 for a Drake hull is about the best you'll see outside of certain null hubs, which generally only sell to their own corp/alliance.
Notice that doesn't include fittings.

I think what he's actually asking is whether the corp/alliance has such a hub with drakes for < 48m.

Yes. I was looking for those "certain null hubs." I was asking because of the following answer I received to my questions:
ANSWER: The ships in the corporate fits are the goal to get too, at least the T1Drake fit, we do have stockpile and we can see about selling them to the corp members. Fittings, if we can build it can be supplied/sold, T1 ammo is supplied, talk to Tim Whicked in the game about this.

Based on the answer, I'd say that'd be a no to an alliance/coalition trade hub with significant savings. I'd also suggest shooting Tim a message in-game about the price of one of the SRP hulls, and some of the fittings, like they said.
I wouldn't, however, expect a massive savings.
