Any Flames of War players?

I just started playing the Flames of War miniatures game. Does anyone else on here play or know anything about it?

Yes, I play....not often though. I use the Soviets and run an entire T-34 Battalion with Tankies supported by 4 76mm Guns.....I basically envelope my opponent in the first 2 turns.

A few guys here in my unit up here in Korea, play it. I checked it out looks pretty cool, i might just get into it when i get the money for it lol

I too still dork out with this..I run Spacce Marines, 2d Company CODEX setup, and Imperial Guards with SIAW conscripts...soviet doctrime time....for the lulz

don't play warhamer 40 K but read all the books and paint the models now for my kid but when I was in the corps did it for money, I find painting them relaxing. I do play the PC games Dawn of war

I was Dark Angels or Tyranids for years, the Dawn of war games were awesome, I used to play the turn based game too. I never could paint that great, I never had time or patience. I delved into the Grey knights for a little while as a contingent for my buddy who used chaos.

at one point they were supposed to come out with a online battle game where you bought your armies and played using the rules but I have never seen it come out.

I had Chaos Gate, The Final Liberation was more the Epic version, I tried it in my friends barracks room back then.

I started orks then I had me a huge space marines but I sold them as no time with current job requirements but I refuse to let go of the orks... Plus I need to start learning 6th edition

Blood Angels and Kroot Mercs right here. You wouldn't believe how many games I've won over opponents saying "They're just Kroot" before the game. They never see them coming.

My buddy always would use kroot to flank with and always laughed because with orks I would line the table edges to counter him

I ran Chaos Space Marines, i would particulary run the Word Bearers or World Eaters.
