Camping vs Rushing

I see a lot of discussion going on about this topic. It's the epic struggle Camper vs Rusher, Alien vs Predator, Good vs Evil!

I'm a rusher at heart. Especially when I use my MP7 and shotgun class but when I use my Fad class, I tend to area camp so I can get my kill streaks up

im the same way when im using my mp7 or striker i rush my ass off... hell even sometimes when i use my fad or ACR i rush but i do like to hold an single area down and just build kill streaks.

I struggle with this...if I area camp I can get bored,but as soon as I move someone finally shows up. When I rush...I Run into groups...usually get one kill, but then get double teamed.still an ongoing battle for me

It really depends on the map for me. I know some think it defies all logic but I often find myself wanting to rush on large maps and area camp on small maps. I hate camping on big maps because that's what most people do, so I like to take it to them. Then on small maps people think its ok to rush around like idiots so its easy pickins and people keep coming back after you kill them. I try to adapt my tactics to each map and adjust in game depending on my team or how my opponents are playing. Adapt and overcome!

I rush a lot, but when a team leader says hold an area I deploy anchor. Haha I like to flank the enemy and then call out their movements for the team. I love calling out then 5 seconds later multikill by a teammate.

Camp all day. But there is a difference between tactical camping and dark corner mcdougaling. Gotta learn your environment and maintain your sectors.

I agree with your philosophy. It's almost easier to rush big maps because of all the campers usually having tunnel-vision. On small maps I tend to do bot, rushing with "extended" breaks lol works good for me

Shoot, scoot and communicate.
Like hunting or guerrilla tactics, don't stay in one place so the enemy can find you and don't move so fast as to walk into an ambush.
I like playing both sides of the camp/rush fence based on the way others are playing.
Historically, I have camped far more than I have rushed. That is due to being a PC player until MW3 and having more latency than my foe.
With xBox, I have rushed a bit more.
I do enjoy being called a ^%$ **^&^ *(*&^ camper when people get pissed though.

it matters what weapon I use if I camp or rush. SMG's I rush, Assault weapons I camp and rush matters how I am doing. snipers I camp big time with good equipment to back me up.

I love to rush all the time, even with assault rifles or snipers, i only camp to bring my health back up, or when im playing search and destory haha

I'm a rusher to a fault. If I played a little more conservatively, I'd die a lot less. I'm not gonna lie though... When I'm one off my Reaper, I will sit in a corner for kill #9 haha.
