We have known about these (http://www.gamestop.com/collection/call-of-duty-black-ops-2) for quite a while and most of us have gotten the First (http://www.gamestopblackops2.com/Images/firstWaveSlider.png) Two (http://www.gamestopblackops2.com/Images/secondWaveSlider.png) waves.

Well it looks like they have released Wave 3 (http://www.gamestopblackops2.com/Images/thirdWaveSlider.png) and here's what they've got for us.

So from the looks of it we can get the Charline Drone Avatar item right off-the-bat or sweepstakes entries. I don't foresee any of us winning the Turtle Beach or VIP visit, so it looks like we'll all be rocking the Avatar item. Lets hope Wave 4 has something good as well.

I got an email from GameStop for it, that's why I use their card, I lose the reciepts

If you use gamestop and have a powerup card, then all they have to do is swipe the card. Even if you dont they just look up your name I think. INVEST IN THE CARD! I have saved so much money that way.

It's not free, there is a yearly membership for it. I usually renew mine when I pre order COD every year.

Mine have never asked me to enter it again. But I did it at Gamestop with a power up pro card, so I don't know how much of it is the card being an awesome all knowing power, lol.

The codes for the waves, like the Nuketown map, are printed on your receipt when you pick up the game. According to the confirmation email when that wave dropped.

The code you got when you preordered was probably for the free MW3 prestige token. I missed using mine.

The initial code was for the MW3 emblem. The Nuketown and avatar codes will be on your receipt when you pick up the game on release. Given that it's utterly useless until the game releases, it makes sense.

Why put up all the different wave bonuses when you can't even get them. It would be better if they did this shit when the game came out. Keep people interested in whats to come

Aside from the one that went to MW3, that's exactly what they are doing. They're just announcing it beforehand, to reward the people who preordered early and to "keep people interested in what's to come."

The only thing so far that I want out of the wave bonus's is the avatar. I know for sure I'm not going to win a set of turtle beaches or a trip to the site where they made the game.

Ok....so check it. The receipt you got when you first pre-ordered your game that has the code for the prestige token, is the code to get all the wave bonuses. I went to GameStop yesterday to change my pre-order from a normal copy to the harden edition and got a new code with my new receipt. With that new receipt and code I was able to get the third wave bonus. I went ahead and got the avatar. So, if you have your receipt, I would use it to get it.

Ok, so I did some extensive research and found out the answer to my question. Even though I put my code in. I still can't get the Avatar till the game drops. Pretty Gay if I don't say so myself

For In-store Pre-Orders: Order must be placed by October 7, 2012 and picked up at same Store between November 13-December 3, 2012. When you pick up your Order you will receive an Unlock Code on your purchase receipt that must be registered on Website by 11:59 PM CT on December 3, 2012. Within three (3) business days after you enter your Unlock Code, an email will be sent by Sponsor that will include a final Download Code for Premium redemption. The email will contain a set of instructions on how to download your Premium via the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 console. Download Code must be entered on the Xbox 360’s or PlayStation 3’s online service no later than 11:59 PM on December 10, 2012.
