Need college advice

Ok so I got into FULL SAIL now my issue is what degree will best equip me to get into the gaming industry. II have the passion for designing and culminating a great story and scenes to life? So I chose game design. But I know that's the holy grail- should I go down the path of something graphics? Or creative writing?

I don't know how game design compares to graphics, but I know actual programmers (i.e. those who design the engines and actual code) make a heck of a lot more money than graphic designers for the same game. I would assume that game design gets paid more than graphic design, but I have nothing to back that up.

Well I talked to a few people in the industry and have been told I Gould steer in the direction of computer animation as this opens up the job market

I've often thought about getting into the creative writting side of game design but since I can't seem to find an agent for the one I already got I lost interest lol seems something to get ur foot in the door might be a good place to start in the business though
