I've come to a point where I am unsure which direction to go with my training. I've been training to fit the T1 Drake and Capacitor skills. I've completed everything but Drones V for the T1 Drake. Here's my dilemma, Which direction do you think I should go?
Drones V: 4d, 20h, 7m (for T1 & T2 Drake)
Energy Management: 13d, 22h, 30m (Capacitor)
Shield Management V: 13d, 22h, 30m (Survival)
Heavy Missiles V: 13d, 7h, 18m (T2 Drake w/no Drones V)
Finish Goon's 60 Day Plan: 18d, 11h, 8m
Manticore Training: 23d, 23h, 52m
ECM Training: 1d, 3h, 23m (for Blackbird)

What is the Goons' 60-day plan?

What is the Goons' 60-day plan?
On the GoonFleet wiki page they have a 60 day training plan for people new to EVE. Here is a link:

I've also be training the packs you recommended in another thread. That's what Survival, Capacitor and ECM means on my post below.
I am in the same boat right now, but I have 26 days left on goon list
I use the EVEMon and copy in the fit I am wanting for a ship into a new plan and it tells me what I need to meet that fit.
I am 5 days behind you, but I spent so much time on Gallente ships when in Hi Sec and mining since then

Interesting...
I have just under 22 days to train out that plan. Primarily because I haven't trained Drones or Caldari ships on my combat toon. All of the PI stuff is trained on my Indy toon instead of my combat toon, as well.

Your not sharing goon info right? We are only supposed to share that info with Goon fleet members. As a few of us have talked about we are actually adversaries on EVE but still USMG.

Well, I guess I should take it down then. Although, it's not like it is anything secret. The skill packs from the GoonFleet wiki were posted in another thread.

I guess your right, I am used to info security and thats what I do at work a lot. Zulu is cool and alot of the list is the same as the academy and some others I found online.
I actually havent read anywhere that we cant share info on there.

I can't find the post right now, but I'm pretty sure I only posted a general overview of how the packs were built and generally organized. I didn't actually post the pack contents (skills).

It is here: http://forums.usmilitarygamers.com/showthread.php?9219-Who-is-Not-coming-to-Null-Sec If you couldn't access the goonfleet wiki, you couldn't access the zip file.

I think you are right. I didn't see anything that said you couldn't.
See I just do the fit of a ship into evemon and do those skills. I am not doing the planetary or POS yet. I will finish Drake then go for the Stealth Bomber. I am into mining but we are required to PVP so I want to be able to help stealthfully track down nuets.

I was having trouble making cap stable fits. So I started training capacitor stuff along with the ship specific stuff. I think I missed out on training some of the early stuff.
I have the same issue. I was reading and a lot of the skills reduce capacitor requirements so i missed that before.

To answer the questions, to continue after ur training for goons, think of something u want to do, eletronic warfare, damage in war fighting, logistics, or even commanding a fleet to victory. From there look for a ship that falls into that category and train to that.

So, you are saying I should complete the goon's training before advancing any further?

The goons training will set u up for ur basic core skills. When u advance to different ships ur going to need ur core skills to be trained to max when u get in ur heavy duty ships. Mine are sitting at Standard right now, so if u want to stop goons training i would reccomend looking at the core training certificates and shoot for that.

It'd be beneficial. The skills on there, tend to be there for a reason.

Yeah, Goon's training sets are for a purpose and are solid.
