Haha yeah between this and MWO I'm going to be busy. The Alpha Squad package wasn't a bad deal though. you get all that extra stuff plus the 40 bones you just put down is 40 in-game station cash too.

Note* Anyone reading this the game is free to play, but if you want the extra in-game stuff plus early access to beta it's only 40 bones.

It has a feel of Battlefield to it. It is a massive FPS MMO, u have 3 empires going head to head and fighting over complete control of the map. U have ur normal vehicles ranging from ATVs all the way to Troop Transport Aircraft. The controls need a little bit getting used to for the aircraft as they handle just like a helo. U also have ur multiple classes just like BF3 and any other FPS. U range from the Scout/Sniper to ur Max Suit or Tank and Damage Class. With the Max, you are a walking robot suit with 2 weapons who basically says when he comes into a contested area, im here to fuck shit up. So its a fun game and u can also squad up and work as a unit to help ur empire/federation take control of the entire map. I would reccomend it if u love F2P games lol

Well, I ended getting out if the Navy, by the time I moved, got a job, moved again and finally settled down I ended up dropping out of multiplayer stuff to catch up on on my single player stuff I haven't beaten yet, I will be back for BF4 if its on ps3!

I saw they had PS2 and that is one of the only reasons I was a big PC gamer back in the day, and of course I need to get Starcraft II. I just got a new laptop that actually has teh abolity to play some things.

Alright, we got EVE Online, PS2, WoW, DayZ, Minecraft, MWO, and LoL. I know there are onesies and twosies in other PC game but these are where i know we got a few people playing them.

I love this game, I have around 400 hours in it now. I play each faction on 3 seperate servers. The game is massive and fun. You do however need to be in a large outfit to really enjoy it. I am apart of the NC's 666th Devil Dogs on Connery Server. We have about 2500 players and on ops night we can get at-least 1 full company, 4 platoons, plus a recon team, armor cav company and an air element. That looks amazing. It's crazy getting that many people playing together. Is there a communication channel set up with everyone? That was one of the things I really like from MAG on PS3, The chain of command for orders coming down to complete the mission. I like this in gaming instead of people wanting to run out and be lone wolf or rambo.

Yes there are internal comms for the game. It has a VOIP that allows you to speak in Proximity, Outfit, Squad, Platoon, and with certification points, a faction command channel. Like most game, people use either vent or TS. The outfit I am in uses TS3 and has a very structured rank and comms SOP. Its set up just like in the military, we run squads of 12 one being the SQDLDR, and one Platoon as the PL as well. Then there is an RO for each squad so comms do not overwhelm the SQD/PLs. Its very structured but not douchey. Many of the members are current or former military and the outfit is a carry over from PS1. They also run classes on how to play the game and work as a team. Its pretty good shit.
