Elite may become totally free and the DLC will be on a season pass type thing.

I think that would be a smart move on Activision's part. Battlelog and Waypoint are already free, and they both have unconnected ways of getting discounted DLC.

Ya well that bites. I just renewed the Elite Status(no charge thanks to Xbox and my account being hacked a few month back).... But it means I have to shell out another $50ish dollars to get the DLC

Agree. I really doubt anyone cares about Friday night fights, and clan competitions are free on Battlelog. It makes sense on their part.

Battlelog has clan competitions??? Are you just talking about with MoHW, or with BF3 too? Because I didn't see any for BF3, but it looked like there would be something coming for MoHW.

MoH: W. Looks like it will have a clan ranking system similar to Ghost Recon, where you can form a platoon team, and fight similar teams to rank up the platoon.
