Sorry I've been Mia for a bit! I moved from wa state to ok. I've been getting the house ready, in processing and now I'm about to go to the field from nov 1-8. Turns out this new unit I'm going to is deploying in December. They're trying to leave me back so I can be there for my firs child's birth! Here's to hoping anyway.

You do what the military tell's you and not what you want to do lol. That would suck if you couldn't be there but i'm sure they will work something out in your case

That's how it was for me when I went to Ft. Hood. I was there for literally a couple months and shipped out the Iraq. That's what happens when you go to a tac unit

When I got to wildflecken that happened then when I got back, the unit closed and then went to Frankfurt and got deployed again. All in one year. I saw enough of Africa to last a lifetime lol
