I'm loving the campaign! Good story so far! I'm not real far into it either. Like mission 4 or 5? Cut scenes almost look like a real movie IMO.

My internet was down for like two weeks and due to the lack of online gaming i finished it in three days. I cannot believe how awesome the graphics are as well as the "movie like" story line. It does not fail you with the ending. Looking forward to playing this online!

Yeah, reading through a bunch of reviews, apparently the biggest complaint from the reviewers is that it isn't CoD......apparently they missed that fact when they opened the box.

That's fucked up! If ya'll haven't noticed though, when all of the latest FPS games drop, they are all compared to CoD! Don't drink the kool-aid I say! LOL!! CoD=wash, rinse, repeat...that is all...

Yeah I played for about 20 minutes on CoD... I about threw up. Medal of Honor = better in all aspects for me anyways.

Minus actually winning matches when I was on you're fireteam, I'm still not loving the multiplayer. I like the actual gameplay better, but for some reason I still just can't kill people. I'm always missing people who are dark corner McDougling, and the maps are not very bright to begin with. I turned up the brightness as high as it could go and it was better, but still not great. The menus are confusing as hell too. I want so badly to love this game but is just not happening yet and I'm concerned that once bo2 drops I'm never going to want to pick this back up.

I can't argue with that. They are dark and hard to see people, but I think it's still a far better game than CoD

it depends on your class, I thought being a heavy gunner would help but I learned I have to unload a huge amount of rounds into some-one then I changed to assault class and I killing with a quick burst. Plus the 3 small frags don't have the killing power that the 1 frag has.

Hasn't been my experience. Plus, if you set your bipod, it's full on rock and roll.

I haven't tried the in-game mic, as we always use the Xbox Live party chat.

I used the in game mic last night for a few games after work and the communication was far better than playing with non clan members on COD I ran through 6 games and didn't get stuck with one young annoying kid. I had an issue with the dark maps until I adjusted the settings. I think the reason that we see them as dark is due to COD not really making many dark places on any of their maps.

my xbox copy is stuck at the Harrisburg post office UPS can't do anything until the 15th and the same with GOVx I asked them to refund my money but they can't do that until the 15 to start a claim with UPS.

Okay, knocked out the campaign yesterday.
The story.....excellent. Any reviewer who talks about how bad it is........has never served, and doesn't know anyone who has. The story was very powerful, was loving it.
Gameplay.....not so good. Don't get me wrong, it was decent, but there were a couple points that just hurt. A.I. being ridiculously dumb was one. If I flank the enemy, and have the entire enemy force shooting at me......you'd think my team should be able to drop them.....nope. In a military shooter, your teammates Should be more than a walking ammo box.
Also, there were a couple points where the game glitched, and refused to move forward. The cave quest was the worst offender here.
And my personal biggest issue, that stupid fucking boat section on mission.....6, I think. I'm sorry, but a single sandbag layer can't stop 15 MK19 rounds. I spent way to long on that achievement.
Overall, 8.5/10

I have played the Real Ops with limited HUD and Friendly Fire (which sucks by the way!) and played the TDM matches and they both seem the same! I.e., it takes ALOT of bullets to drop the enemy in either style of gameplay! Or is it just me? Me personally have more fun playing the TDM matches. Anybody else have an opinion?

I enjoy real ops as well as sector control. I agree that it is not consistent throughout. Sometimes enemies drop fast and sometimes it takes a whole damn clip.

*Ahem!*...magazine...but yeah, on real ops I really didn't like it - enemies seemed to drop slowly but I died quickly. I don't play that anymore.

I run assaulter a lot. I dunno man just get a lot if people with running through the spawns. It's definitely helpful.

Well my box is apparently already broken. I hooked it up today and the light came on, but everything showed no signal. So I contacted support and asked for an exchange. Hopefully it's just defective.

Lol thanks those were my best clips from some good games. Not my normal gameplay. Although I did run with Snap again last night and beasted a couple games so maybe I'm getting better.

Well after a couple days of back and forth with tech support, and them of course not understanding I had already tried everything they told me to do, I plugged it up tonight to try another random test when suddenly it worked the first time!! I don't know what was wrong, but I played Battlefield 3 tonight with BallistikMnky and got some good footage. I got almost 3 hours, so it might be a little while till I get a video up due to school. But it's working again.

Thanks! It's the Roxio game capture HD ($129 from Amazon). I'll post a review of it soon, but when it works it's great. Did have one outage-not sure if that was a fluke.

Piece of cake. Plug in the 3 cables (HDMI in, HDMI out, USB out), install the software, hit "Capture" and then select your options and hit record. No learning curve to speak of. Alternatively you can stream live from the software. If I can determine that it was a momentary bug that caused the outage, I will recommend it 100%

One HUGE advantage (besides cost) is the ability to record HD through HDMI. And it only needs a USB 2.0 port, unlike the Blackmagic model which needs a 3.0. Note that it cannot record through HDMI on the PS3 due to HDCP. But you can still record in HD through the HD component cables.

I think it has editing software but I use Adobe Premiere Pro and upload the rendered .mov file.

Hecks yeah! Plus we could explode on YouTube with these vids. I already got the song worked out if we can convince Kant to get online for a few hours after I get the recorder. I've got a song for me as well but I'd have to play around with it a bit to get the editing right. This would help so much with publicity it's not even funny. If I can't pull the dough around xmas I'm expecting Feb as the latest I'll get one. The software itself will end up paying for itself.

I finally got my video to render on YouTube. I had to connect the YouTube account in elite and on black ops 2 and in YouTube.
