Overall thoughts...

So about after 3 hours of gaming it up I have mixed feelings about where to go with this review of it all. Granted it's pretty fresh into the game but I am thinking the game is about a 7.5/10... no surprises about what to expect. This to MW3 should have been basically. I like the game but can see myself switching it up from Halo to CoD back and forth to keep it somewhat new.

I like it a lot, the multiplayer is fun if you dont die and get camped at your spawn. Some maps are all clusterfucked. but some are very good.

I have yet to play zombies or singleplayer but cant wait to stayed up playing for like 3 hours this morning.

I'm sure once they get some bugs worked out it'll be even better, but I really like the new killstreak system. Overall I'm def more into this game then the past ones. I'll have to check out the campaign still though.

This is by far the best one. The customization of the classes is truly top notch. I've been running with no equipment but 5 perks. It's awesome.

See, I gotta disagree somewhat. Is it a massive innovation changing the genre? Obviously not. But the changes they do have are solid improvements.

The only problem I currently have is with the playlists. You have 15 or so game types for core, but only 4 for HC? Unacceptable.

So I only got a hour to try the game tonight. I really about threw the remote because the 3 starter classes were making me mad....Until I got the LSW so it was spray and pray time and I was able to kill again. But I do miss the idea of support class for streaks... I cant get enough combos on the score to get past one score streak. I think the graphics are so much better, my kid walked in and said it looks like HD. Now I just need to get time away from family and coordinate with clan mates to dominate the game.

Side note first two games I got the game winning kill cam.... but last two games I was the kill on the cam...odd

After spending about 30 min. after reaching level 4 to set up my custom classes, I tried to get into a lobby and it said 'server down'!! I only got to play the MP for about 20 minutes!! I was pissed! So I played a little of the campaign. Not too bad!

I have a lot of gripes about this game and my main gripe is the fact that you have to wait to spawn again in any of their HC modes. REALLY! Let me get the killing. I pull my fucking weight when it comes to grabbing tags. If they are worried about people complaining about people camping the entire game, than they can seriously stick up their rear end. Get over it and move on. If they are having issues playing HC, than they need to just stick to core. I'm going to give this game a week and if I'm as unsatisfied with the game play as I am now. I'm trading it in or I can sell it to someone on here

The 3x3 game was fun. Three team of three competing against each other was fun better than 1 team vs 1 team. I can see this area a way to easily dominate as long as people rove in packs and work as a team. Working with random puts you at disadvantage but it was fun

That's a standard CoD feature, though. Not specifically BO2. MoH and Halo both have them (respawn timers) as well.

It's annoying, sure. But it's not like it's an unexpected annoyance.

Maybe in search and destroy (both core and HC), HC team death match, and HC free for all but for HC KC...I'm not a big fan of that

Now I'm kind of confused. S&D has no respawn, and always has been one death per round. HC TDM, FFA, and CTF have always had respawn timers, and there is no HC KC yet.

Ok there is a Map with a train system on it... If you havent played it yet be careful, as a real train runs through it...And it killed me as if I wanted to commit suicide by train

Yeah, those were some fun matches.

And Express is a straight up riot. Especially when you can bait people in to the trains. I'm a fan of interactive scenery, and this one, along with.....Shanghai I think?...are pretty well done. There are actually a lot of these maps I'm currently enjoying.

Oh, and this is the first CoD where I've truly enjoyed the shotgun, and not as some cheap exploit class......MW3 style. That thing is beast. 2 maps with it, and I was top 3 both times. Was a lot of fun working angles and flanking people, thanks to some excellent covering fire.

Though I didn't have too much fun playing Domination. Maybe because it was Core? The need to come on already and bring on the HC:KC! I love playing KC but not too much of a fan on Core! Sucks putting a whole mag into someone just to have them turn around and shoot me with few shots while I'm having to re-load! Or it could still just be my internet?! During the day, it's good to go! At night, is when I lag! Even as drunk as I was, still had fun! LOL!! My wife seen how happy I was playing with the Clan. She saw I was playing with Toby (Sgt. Tut) and ya'll and asked me, "Isn't that the guy that gets as drunk as you do and still has fun?" LOL!! Priceless!!

On a side note the Pick ten System is taking a little getting used to, I think its odd that can put the fore grip and Quickdraw grip on at the same time... But hey it says it reduce recoil immensely...

I'll have to get on and try the multiplayer tonight and this weekend. I wasn't able to start playing until last night and started on the campaign. I'm not that impressed with this mode and story. Perhaps it will get better as it moves along. But, so far, I liked MW3 better. I'll reserve judgement.

Quickdraw grip is an upgraded pistol grip, so it actually does make sense. Unless I'm completely blind.

I tried the bot mode...not sure of name, and set AI so I could go 90-0 and try out all the kill streaks.--FUN!

Shotguns are a blast. Not in the they suck till you get range and they become op kinda way like MW 3. They are actually fun to use and require thought.

My k/d is in stride with what mw3 is, but I did have where my first couple of matches I was killing like crazy, got me a triple kill. It's funny I hit better without bringing my sights up. I mistakenly tried joining steel and went against him and reaper and,some other folks I hadn't seen in awhile or ever. Then I got with a good crew out of Atlanta from a mutual friend and we locked down hc ctf for a couple of games, guardians and sentries evil defenses, I put a sentry on a roof top where you can't really see it and it sprayed the busy intersection everyone used.

I cannot maintain a good K/D in this game. I've been sitting right around a .95 and it's pissing me off. My W/L ratio is miserable at a .32

I don't really aim. Anyone that play with me know I take full auto 100 rd clips and fire till some one dies. I am positive my accuracy is around 5% It's effective when playing kill confirmed and I am not the tag collector.

Depends on the class that I use if I'm going to tag collect or not. If I rush, I go for tags. If I use an assault class, I just kill but there's no HC KC so I can't do shit

I dunno...I never played HC much on MW3...I always preferred core. The only HC mode I liked was Dom, and I freaking hated ricochet except on S&D

That was pretty much the only thing I hated about HC on MWF. Outside of that, I enjoyed playing HC modes
