Black Ops 2 will have an anti camping ghost perk which I love!! Lol!! Basically you will only stay off enemy radar if you are moving. If your a corner camping mcdougal, you will be exposed to radar! This is awesome.

Thats awesome! Camping drives me nuts! Dont get me wrong, if I have a sniper rifle equiped I will stay put in one place a lot longer than usual eventually I will and always be found. Dont be mad campers, you can still camp but not as long this time.:nono::eyebrows:

I guess since this game is set in the future, they don't have to worry about keeping it realistic. If you move a UAV can't see you, but if you stay still it can? Really?

This sounds kind of interesting. Not sure how the game can track something so detailed. What if you're just camping and moving the nose of your weapon just slightly back and forth... Does that count as moving?

Through many hard lessons I've learned its often best to just let your ego go and move on to someone else. If they're good at camping they'll area camp and move around so they can kill you several times over again. Though if you're playing core, recon and recon-pro are very useful till for flushing campers out as there is no defense for it.

I'll say what I have always said. Camping is a valid tactic. In a real battle would you be running your ass off trying to shoot everything is site? I think not. The only ones who do this are the indigenous personnel we have been sent to train. :)

I understand they want campers to stop but there will be a way around it. How the Effff does this make sence if you stay still you can be seen but if you run around you are hidden.......
Any game with too many people doing the same thing makes it less fun. A good player incorporates a lot of different strategies in their gameplay including camping and rushing.

I think this is being added to stop the guys who just sit in random corners where nothing is happening just waiting for you to run through. That is camping, everything else is just good tactics as far as I'm concerned. Depending on the game mode, I'll stay in one area of a map moving back, and forth getting high kill streaks. For me it's a smart way to play but people still call me a camper even when I get the most distance traveled accolade!! Lol!!

I can't lie about not area camping. Once I get my four kill streak to get my pred and that's if I don't get two kills with it, I wait out till I get my 6th kill to get my attack helo. If you're wondering why I get my stuff sooner, it's because I use hardline pro. Anyway, if my attack helo can't get enough kills to get my pavlo. I area camp again like a mofo lol. I love getting Pavlo's. I know they don't last long but its fun working up to get them. Yesterday I played a match in Terminal and I went 54 and 9. Shit was banana's. I never ever get a score like that. My best hands down.
I could care less how you play as long as you don't give the other team killstreaks and if you do at least take a stinger :)

i like the new ghost i HATE campers... if u move around then it shouldnt be a problem. i think they change to ghost and the new Millimeter sight is going to be AMAZING.

Ive been hearing a lot about how Treyarch is going to put a lot more reward for those that play the objectives in Black Ops 2. This is an idea that I love. So many times I would play a domination game and find my entire team sitting in corners of the map camping points, and I'm the only idiot trying to capture. Its been so bad I gave up playing domination, unless I'm in a lobby with USMG players. This is a video of how the new kill/ point streaks will work. Treyarch is trying really hard to force players to play the game to win, not just get the highest K/D. Ive heard you will only rank up when you win a match, and according to this you will get way more points when you play an objective, or get kills while capping a point. Also, Ive read that the presteges will start for prestege 1 at 50, then progressively increase to 90 as you continue to prestege. I've also heard you will not be able to unlock certain things until you reach different presteges, so the guys who never prestege will lose out on certain things, or weapons.
If Treyarch fixes there hit detection for this game, then this could be the best Call of Duty multiplayer yet! In my opinion anyway..

In the end it will just depend on how the new ghost perk works with anyone gameplay. I dont like the idea but we will see what happens.

I found that playing KC is a great way to get your K/D up. Especially in HC. I try my best to get tags but I feel that my main mission is to be the killer and not the gather.

You're right about that. I started off playing FFA all the time to raise my K/D up when I first was shit when I started playing the game. I got bored though cause I was tired of just doing the run and gun thing. Now I like playing matches that have objectives. HC KC is my shit and I love how easy it can be to get your kill streaks but at the same time I can get a bit mad cause right when I'm about to achieve my pred or pavlo. I get blown up by a gernade launcher or rocket.

Not sure where I've heard it but I've heard the only explosives in hardcore are your lethal items; grenades, Semtex, etc. Noob tubes from what I understand won't be in there.

Yeah, they can play core, where they belong!! Besides there is supposed to be a new match making thing in the new game which puts you in lobbies with players more equal in skill. We will have to wait and see I guess!!

I think that's hard to do. Only cause the way you would judge that is by your level of prestige, or they could do it based on your over K/D for that particular type of match. Example would be TDM. If you had overall K/D of 1.23 for Core TDM, they would put you in a lobby with people who have K/D's in the same range of you. That will also cause a problem. The amount of wait time will be the primary issue. I def would like to see them try to solve that riddle

This is true IF you're running with a squad with a "collecter" per say. But I have been running with randoms and heard one guy last night actually ask what that shiny tag was after he killed a guy! He was a third or fourth prestige! Really?

Campaign is lame....tac mode or whatever it is sucks balls. PC version....is RIFE with blatant aim bots and boosts. I will be penning a nicely worded letter to the board regarding the effect of hacking today and the bottom line of trying to just make a buck will eventually fail...which is much to the effect of the downfall of the PC.,,,hell...which maybe their directive anyway.....who knows...I doubt it will work anyway...I only hold 1000 shares...thats peanuts to the rest of the company holdings....its just a fuck you to the consumer.......I passed on the last 2 MW titles because of the ridiculous hacks....they make the game unplayable IMO.

So far I'm enjoying it, but mostly because I gave up on playing the campaign, until some point before I trade in the game for some easy gamerscore, about 3 CoD's ago. Multiplayer is great....at least on console. Gonna try zombies one of these days soon.

I never played the first BO's multiplayer, so I didn't know what I was getting into when it came to play MWF. Probably the main reason why I choose MWF over BOP's gameplay. I'm starting to get used to BOP's gameplay so my level of stress is decreasing. I'm still bitter about having more crappy games in BOP's than I am when it comes to having good games

Yea ive only played multiplayer...i like the sound effects of the grenades and stuff...the game is def alot harder to play if ur use to run and gun play...

That's what I love about them. You'll get a hit marker even in hc when someone walks into one and lets you know where they are. I love throwing them, i actually threw one and hit someone with it, lol.

I bounced one off a teammate and it landed behind me... would have been sweet if someone was sneaking up on me.
Cool I threw one and some one happened to be there sneaking up on one our guys and it saved our camper / defender. I have been playing with the gauntlet and best placement. That thing is crazy if you can cross 2 of em no one gets close.

No, Engineer perk lights up equipment in red, and lets you shuffle care packages and trap enemy care packages. You don't need engineer for the black hat to work, but since it works through walls......makes it a no brainer.
