I have a cheap Mw3 one from gamestop for 20 bucks that works most of the time but gets itchy after 2 hours of wearing it

I used one in Iraq, and people could hear me just fine over wind and truck noises. They're probably pretty decent if you want to play with surround sound blasting.

It would work about as well wrapping a mic cord around your neck so the microphone is sitting on your shoulder since it's not a real throat mic (laryngophone). A real one wouldn't be picking up outside noise from your tv because it works off the vibrations in your throat but reading reviews show that it picks up background noise just like any other mic

It's nicer compared to my green and black Xbox mic that I have that isn't sensitive enough all the time

Lmao in other words... It doesn't work so well.... I'd just stick with a legit set of turtle beaches lol I've got the mw3 edition with bluetooth and all that shit and they work pretty damn well!
