I was reading an article today about how to get Windows 8 Pro for just $14.99.

The $14.99 upgrade offer is valid for new PCs purchased between June 2, 2012 and January 31, 2013, that has Windows 7 on it.
The Windows Upgrade Offer site where you register for an upgrade offer doesn't require proof of purchase. You enter the date of purchase and the brand of PC you bought.

Yeah I saw this. But I really really don't like 8. I've got a copy of 7 Ultimate for when I build my desktop.

yeah i hear ya .. jury still out for me but maybe the more i use it the more ill like it... but thats 69.99 dollar software for 14.99.. cant beat that!

I have been on it since it came out. It's been more stable than even windows 7 for me. I play EVE on it and I do video editing you just have to learn to put your mouse in corners for options I stay in desktop mode most of the time so it is like Windows we kow
