This is a crazy story. I know him and he was the guide of our platoon at Parris Island. He has since left the Marines and was on his way to Costa Rica to go surfing when they snagged him up for having a shotgun that was cleared with border agents before he crossed the border. After reading the article it seems they got him because of his USMC tattoo. This is a badass Marine. I hope they get him the hell out of there before he gets hurt or killed.

The US government needs to step up and unfuck this situation.... It's a shame that knowing the state of mexican prisons and their level of corruption that we are continuing to allow a Marine to stay locked up in this shit hole.... get him the fuck out I say! :attention:

This is above and beyond a complete load of horseshit. How our government can allow this to happen without doing something about it I simply don't understand, but it makes it perfectly clear that it doesn't give a shit about it's citizens nor the soldiers who risked their lives for their country.

This should have made national news months ago the fact that this marine is still locked up and the State Department aswell as mexican officials have done nothing to help this guy is beyond fucked up.. Shows how much the government actually "cares" about us.

They're were too busy trying to make the public believe Susan Rice should be the next secretary of state... Now that the charade is over maybe they'll do something that matters worth a fuck.

The U.S government really needs to get this Marine out. ASAP! That's B.S that the Mexican government would keep him locked up. Do you realize that in the Mexican jail system if you don't have money or family members who bring you food, you don't eat. For fuck sake

I don't see that having a happy ending. Probably best to sign the petition. Let the government get off their ass and do their job.

Neither do I. Which is such a sad state of affairs in and of itself.

Wow man... all these stories are piling up about bullshit things. What are we spiraling into as a society? the morals we accept nowadays compared to when we were growing up, night and day

Apparently there's more important things to worry about in the US than worrying about a fellow American who is held on BS charges.

makes ya think twice about going out of the country and wanting to protect yourself... I hope this gets resolved soon. If anyones watched Mel Gibson in "The Gringo" it portrays what its like for an American in a Mexican prison. I hope its not like that for him, but i hope he gets out soon
