I bought an Acer, and it connected to my friends internet great. Brought it home and it connects, but when I try to do anything it Disconnects. Troubleshot with frontier, and they sent a new router. Still happening though. I called Acer, and they are trying to get me to pay $200 I cant afford. Sounded like its easier to fix and they just want money out of me. Can anyone help me out here. Im going nuts without my computer.

Did you try reinstalling the driver? Although not sure if the driver is the issue if it is connecting to other wireless networks. Is the network adapter compatible with your wireless network (e.g. 802.11a/b/g/n)?

See I wouldn't use the All I one router, the isp's router is an afterthought from the modem. I have heard an increasing amount of new routers and AP's , in my case at work the N series Cisco's, overloading their signal at the firmware level.

Tapatalk HD, high def ranting.

You don't have the box checked next to : "Connect to a more preferred network if available"?

This will make your wireless card continue to scan for other networks and attempt connection s if another network is broadcasting with a stronger signal..

May I see a screenshot of your wireless network properties?

Ill try and get you a picture smoke, but most of this is gibberish to me. I was hoping doc would take a look at it for me, I told him I could pay. I really want this thing working, since ive already sunk 325 dollars into it.
Its been hard for me to even get online lately, since my computer doesnt work. That dell that belongs to another member in the house is shot because my gf mom doesnt know anything about computers, and went junk ads crazy, signing up for anything she found interesting.

I can take a look at it for you, can you plug a network cable into it, and get it on the internet? If yes, I could remote into it, and take a look at the settings for you.

Atleast then, I could give you an idea of the problem. Its most likely something simple.
