    SP completed!

I have finally done it, completed single player with 98.7% completion. Not bad for my first run

now just a little clean-up and i'll be working on catching you guys in multi-player. I have 2 costumes left to unlock and one is for 100% completion so it doesn't really count so i think all i have left is the one costume and some bounties, maybe a stranger mission somewhere that i missed.

I enjoyed the way they handled the ending, I felt pretty satisfied with it. Once you guys get there let me know what you thought. I think it was ASig who was saying, and i agree with him, that it seems like this game never ends lol. Just when you thought it was over it keeps on trucking. If you rushed through it as quick as possible you'll probably still looking at an extra hour of gameplay after what you would have expected to be the climatic finish before the game actually does end and credits roll

    Obtained 100% completion tonight

and got all the single player only trophies. "Dastardly" is a pretty fun one to get, let me know if you're interested, i think it can be done on multiplayer too but i haven't tried yet.

    Re: SP completed!

oh and another thing, wandering around waiting for bounty posters to get posted up sucks!

I did learn something though. I was under the impression that there was no way to tell how many bounties you've claimed per area but i was mistaken. Press start, go to stats, down to score, and on the very bottom is the list of bounties per area. if you want 100% completion, you need to get 8 in new austin, 8 in nuevo paraiso (mexico), and 4 in west elizabeth

Thanks Max, I've been shooting the crap out of bounty heads left and right and still no trophy to show for it.... it was getting frustrating.

    Re: SP completed!

that's weird. If nothing else, once you finish everything else and bounties are the only thing you have left, just finish out the 8 new austin ones and then keep doing mexico ones until you get 100%.

waiting on the bounties to show up sucks though. I was to the point where i was sitting in Chuparosa going in and out of the save screen just to advance 6 hours, then run outside and follow the policeman that hangs up the poster if he spawns, or run back and advance another 6 hours. Those bastards walked so slow and then took an eternity to nail up the poster, but be warned, running into them or punching them doesn't speed up the process lol

don't worry DB, it's not as simple as "Jon dies", just play it and keep going, even after it feels like it's over. When the credit's roll, then it's over, and not a moment sooner

    Re: SP completed!

Alright I am pasted the part where John dies... WTF!!! Same dude who said everything is done with comes hunting him down later. Now I am the son Jack and have to get that plane ready to fly. Where the hell am I going to find 5 beavers, 5 red sage plants, the birds are pretty much everywhere... But I hardly ever have seen a beaver and the plants I am just horrible at finding.

    Re: SP completed!

beavers....go to either the forest area just where the snow starts, or along the northern river above the great plains. Day time only, i've never found a beaver at night.

red sage. All over by fort mercer. pick up a survivalist map at the general store and activate it near the fort. Zoom out your minimap a little to make it easier to see

also, you're not quite done with the story, there is one new stranger mission that unlocks at the point you are at and once you finish that one the credits roll

    Re: SP completed!

I completed single player a while back. Is there anyway at all to go back and get the trophy for riding the same horse for twenty missions, or will I have to start a new game for that one?

Indecision may or may not be my problem.

    Re: SP completed!

you have to start a new game. I had to do the same thing. And don't worry about the mission where you have to break the stallion because it doesn't count that as switching horses. Just make sure you always whistle for your horse every time before getting on so you don't get the wrong one and when in doubt, leave your horse a safe distance away and run into the battle
