Anyone get this game? I know aSig did, and hopefully i will have a PSN card in my hands later today to get it as well. For those that are unaware of what it is, here's a little video, followed by an explanation

I've played the demo that came out yesterday and it's a lot of fun, even with the limitations of the demo. The full game includes:

• 144 holes across 4 themed courses[/*:m:3q6w0rsx]
• custom course creation and online sharing[/*:m:3q6w0rsx]
• trophies [/*:m:3q6w0rsx]
• youtube video uploading (i hope this feature becomes more common in games)[/*:m:3q6w0rsx]
• plenty of unlockables for character personalization[/*:m:3q6w0rsx]
• power ups for over the top, otherwise impossible mini golf fun :mrgreen:[/*:m:3q6w0rsx]
• online and offline multiplayer with videochat support [/*:m:3q6w0rsx]

This is a PSN exclusive little game that runs for $9.99. If you enjoy the play create share aspect of games like little big planet and modnation racers then i'm sure you'll enjoy this one too. Having community created levels makes it so you have fresh stuff to play long after you've mastered all the single player courses.

now i may be a little biased because i like PSN games (i have 15 total now ) and i like games like hotshots golf, but i really think this game is a lot of fun and has plenty of growing potential.

My best score on the Buccaneer warm-up course is -9 with i think somewhere around 3,500 style points, anyone topped that?

ME and rookie got it. I made 2 golf holes so far, and are #14, and #35 most popular. I am also #2 (out of 2k+) on the weekly tournament. I'm proud of myself now. #2 people! #2!

#2? nice. I had a top 10 score in pixeljunk shooter on the first level for the first day or so. I got buried after a few weeks of the game coming out and more people getting it though.

I think i'm still in the top 50 for the first stage of EleFunk though

i actually would be higher but people glitched the hell out of that game, top scores being in under a second and whatnot

this is an awesome function. The video may not be very exciting, it's the first hole in the game afterall and bloody easy but the ability to send the replay straight to youtube and HD no less is pretty neat

Crazy good job on my courses man. especially the 10 Aztec Skulls. HAH! I never realized you could do it like that but eh, whatever. and I'm sure it unlocked you a pretty trophy huh? make sure to rate 5 stars and add as favorites. I'll be sure to do the same when you make some of your own.

now that you mention it, yes, i think i should have gotten a trophy for scoring a hole in one on a custom course with at least a par 5.....but no such trophy was given to me :x

we need some more people on this game, it's a lot of fun and making the youtube videos is great


oh and i played the weekly tourny, landed at 19th place as of now but we shall see if i drop further down by the end of the week. Sig, you dropped down to 26 now

26th? SHIT! well, I'm still top 100, and I get stuff for that. next is top 10, and of course top 1. So we're still in the same bracket, but have you played the course I made yet? I combines all of the holes we made into a 9 hole course. 7 from me and 2 from you. It turned out pretty damn good if you ask me! I bet It'll get rated pretty highly.

we dropped pretty far by the end of it. i think i got 43 and you got 62 but we still ended up in that same bracket lol.

new tourny is up now in polar level


oh and check out the scoreboards for golfers overall, as of last night i had secured 11th place :mrgreen:

welcome to the club DB. make sure you check out Sig's and my courses. The search friends courses/holes function is kind of broken as of now because it only displays one friend at a time so it's easiest to search hole/course, then search by creator. Then you have to put in our full name or it doesn't come up
