72" would be awesome. We just got a new 55" plasma back in January. Kinda thinking I should have waited and picked up a 3D ready LCD.
Also, with all this hype about a 3D TVs, why now? Shutter goggles aren't new tech. My buddy and I were playing Decent and Tomb Raider in 3D back in the late 90's with a Shutter Goggle device back then. We were playing it on a simple CRT screen too.

I think there's more support nowadays. The movie industry has 1/3 of their revenue coming from 3D movies, there will soon be cable/satellite support from ESPN and a Sony consortium of studios. It's not gonna take over but it'll be a nice option to have on movie night. That 72" tv is just unreal at the pricepoint. 3D or not.Originally Posted by RedCon-ONE

rofl, main reason I left PC games. I got very bored with upgrading every 6 months just to play the next big game.Originally Posted by smoke
