    Assassin's Creed 2 (PS3)

I'm playing through the first one again and even though a lot of people said it gets boring and repetative, i still enjoy the story and would like to get the 2nd one so i can be all caught up on the story in time for AC:Brotherhood.

So does anyone have a PS3 copy they'd like to part with? Gamestop and Amazon charge about $22 for a used copy so i'd be willing to pay $15-$20 for yours, which is more than double what those crooks at gamestop would offer you if you traded it in. I'll send payment via cashier's check from the post office so you will know 100% that it is good.

How about I just send you mine and whenever your done with it send it back? Or are you definitely wanted to buy it? Because if you are dead set on buying it I will let it go for 15. I have no use for it since I wont ever play it again... And yes it gets boring to me .

    Re: Assassin's Creed 2 (PS3)

i'm cool with a temp loan. Games like assassin's creed don't have a whole lot of replayability so i'd only play through once and be done. I beat the first one ages ago and the only reason i'm replaying now is for the story refresher. I'll PM you my address out here in New Austin

    thanks DB

    Re: Assassin's Creed 2 (PS3)

is it weird that as i play through the first assassin's creed, as i do each assassination i'm thinking in my head:

"And shepards we shall be for Thee, my Lord for Thee, power hath descended forth from Thy Hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command, so we shall flow a river forth to Thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be. In nominae Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti."

yeah, Lady you may be a little out of luck. Out of curiosity though, i wonder how much it would cost to send a game out there? Probably wouldn't matter anyways since many games have regional locks so your system would not be able to play our games and vice versa.

I know DVD's are a different code cos we always try and buy a multi-region one ...I think PS3's are the same

Distracted? You're in the house alone in the middle of New Austin...what could possibly distract you? Was it a bear? :o

    Re: Assassin's Creed 2 (PS3)

ok, got a chance to play a bit now and already it is showing vast improvements from it's predecessor. The character models and all visuals have improved a good deal, they made Lucy look a lot hotter too, which was nice because she looked very plain and unfinished in the first. The targeting system is way better as well, the first one was maddening when you were in a large battle and you'd be swinging wildly all over the place due to the auto targeting system. I'm happy to see the little collectible flags gone, they were meaningless and tedious in AC1. The upgradeable weapons and armor and all that are cool but it does sort of interfere with the story; You're supposed to be re-walking your ancestors footsteps but here your just doing whatever you feel like, sort of rewriting your own story. I'm not complaining though, it adds more depth to the game.

    Re: Assassin's Creed 2 (PS3)

Finished the story now. Talk about cliffhangers! i really am looking forward to the next one. I believe they planned it to be a trilogy from the beginning so i'm really curious as to where it's going to go from here. I was pretty angry when the credits started rolling because that would have been one of the worst places ever to end a game but luckily there is a little more after a minute.

Now i just need to go back and collect the remaining half of the feathers and i will have all the trophies and, with DB's consent of course, I can then pass it on to Smoke

i really enjoyed this game DB, thanks a lot. I may even buy the game some time down the road so i can get the DLC and get to do more memory sequences. In the main game it skips from sequence 11 to 14 so the DLC unlocks 12 and 13 and Templar tombs
